Probably Jim Henson's workmanship. I'm sure he was 7, and Frank Oz's voice also is heard, as was mentioned earlier (4 was Cookie Monster, 6 is Bert), and the Sergeant Ball was Jerry Nelson.
I vaguely remember this, I've only seen it a couple of times in the '70's..it kinda creeped me out a bit...maybe because of the voices and the stop motion..but it was great to see it again:)
