  • Love the ZT knives I hope at some point they will actually make some knives so I can buy one.

  • Good vid, Nutn. I love ZT knives. I have 3, one of which is the 0100 fixed blade with that huge, bulky sheath. For the record, you're 100% right about that sheath. If they offered a kydex alternative I'd buy it in a heartbeat but the knife itself is loaded with awesome. I classify these knives as emergency equipment and I want to know the knife can take whatever I throw at it. ZT knives are built like tanks. Seriously, they're panzerized!

  • ZT knives are worth every penny and their collaborations with custom knife makers not to mention there top notch quality make them probably the best production knives out there. You can buy your cheap spydercos but they will never hold up to the use that ZT knives can easily handle on a bad day.

  • i dont think ZT knives are over priced at all, I have a 0301 that is a beast of a knife people bitch and complain about cheaper knives that they have to constantly sharpen and take care off because they dont want to shell out the extra bucks for better steel and lockup.

  • @SuperBlockster Yeah they're great knives, but you can get knives with similar materials and quality control for usually MUCH cheaper

  • hey nutn! you never got back to my email about how I can donate to the TNP! but I was wondering if you know whether or not if we can put that clip that is on the ZT 560 on the ZT 550 cause I like the deep carry clip much better!

  • The 777 is sharp! Me likey

  • NOOOO....you skipped the 0350!

  • hey nutn, what are your thoughts on the new kershaw cryo. personally I'm very excited!!!

  • Hey Nutn', did you do an inverview at the Spyderco booth this year? If yes, I'm looking forward to seeing it!

  • good job jim,nice vid

  • Best of the best

  • I'm speechless .

  • Love that first Rick Hinderer design, I am actually drooling over it but it's too expensive so I'll never own it. I can buy a gun for the price of these ZT knives especially the 777, holy cow 600 bones for a knife, no way. I own a couple $150 dollar knives and I barely get more enjoyment out of them than my delica and endura knives. Also I agree with Nutn about those sheaths shown in the video.

  • @whispers221 This. I agree, way too expensive for me, but, if I could afford it, I would buy that 777 (sooooo sexy). And that one sheath... I was digging that knife up until he showed the sheath. If they made it cleaner, with holes for attaching it to molle or use with paracord (like some of their other kydex sheaths), then I would definitely consider buying that knife. With that overly massive and bulky sheath, I would never buy it. That's just my opinion.

  • I'll sell my Lone Wolf T2 for purchase that ZT 0560!

  • Cool knifes, not really feeling them. I think I liked the second one but not for $150+.

  • I agree with dade, there the ones we 'look' at but there never gonna be in my pocket. Plenty of other bargain blades that can get the same job done(Kershaw). Definitely a second type of cool knife, but way out of my league and price range

  • 0301 is my edc. want to carry the 0100 on my chest but the stupid sheeth turnes me off. or else it would be on its way. 777 is lame looking to girly.

  • Pleeeeeeaaaaaaase bring back the ZT302. pleasepleasepleaseplease.

  • I need an 0560/0561, but I hate the freakin pocket clips lol.

  • @skyhop $480 on blade hq if you pre ordered it

  • For those that want and can afford knives like that more power to you.

  • There's a difference between feedback and just being rude.

  • I honestly dont understand how people can hate a knife for being expensive! This knife was the overall knife of the year it is incredible! You get what you pay for every single time

  • I've got a 0550, and I was very hesitant to buy it at first because I had heard several negative things about it, but after I finally got one, I love it. It is built like a tank and everything about it is perfection. Thanks for the awesome review brother! Loved every second of it. Can't wait to get my 0560 and 0777.

BTW* The nylon sheath for that one knife... yea. WAY too gauky

  • Love it NutN, long time sub, and I appreciate everything you're doing for the project. I.E. traveling to SHOT to get us all the inside info on the new stuff! Love it!

  • Talk about being fucked in the wallet.

  • I loved that knife!!!! Until I heard $599... :(

  • Great review on ZT knives. I like the ZT line of knives for my EDC is the 0400ST. It is slighty heavy but very well built and I have 0170 as well. I like the little boot knife for that was a second kind of cool to me. Nutn, this was a great review and thanks for doing a booth review on ZT knives.

  • It is great that there is a market for such high end and aesthetically pleasing knives, but I would much rather purchase the Sig 2022 for that price. Still, interesting to hear the technology like the brazing and adjustable lock bar. Thanks for sharing!

  • Only a TNP'r would design a folder with a "sculpted Titanium Backspacer."

  • I have to agree with what others have said, I would rather purchase 2 benchmades or 3 spydercos instead of some of these ZT knives. I don't even really find the ZT's that aesthetically pleasing, they look so bulky I would probably never carry one in my pocket. If guys want to buy these as collector items for the "2nd type of cool" I could somewhat understand that particular argument, but when a knife starts approaching 500+ dollars, I would personally rather have another glock or AK variant.

  • great knives but to rich for my blood :(

  • 599 msrp....for a folding knife.....I bought my damn springfield emp for less than that.

  • Heavy pilot ... School bus of the air! Meh nice knifes none the less, and I have a 200 dollar SOG that was the peak for a EDC to me, but each thier own. (tanto auto)

And they are selling them, prob cant keep them in, so sell! made in USA all for it.

nice review, you show the product with good info, the 599 one whats the wieght? if its not 3 OZ or less not worth it

  • 312 dollars? Fuck off. I just bought a Cold Steel Voyager and a Spyderco Tenacious for 100 bucks. Gimme a break.

  • @FFJabarr they are very cheap steel if your not a knife nut you wont understand the value of a high end blade

  • @shawn4201111 I do understand the value of a high end blade with top materials and construction. I also greater understand value vs practicality and for me, I absolutely refuse to spend anything north of 200 on a blade simply due to the fact that the blades I have that cost 30-50 dollars can just as easily cut through the top of a bag of french fries. There gets to be a point in knife purchasing where the the price starts to be outrageous. It's not a linear graph in terms of price/practicality.

  • @FFJabarr 400 dollars isnt outrageous ive seen and owned blades that are well over 1000 but i got them for doing a lot of g10 work

  • @shawn4201111 What can your blade of 1000 dollars do that my Spyderco Tenacious valued at around 40-50 (where I'm from) can't do?

  • @FFJabarr mine can hold an edge for 3 days because of the steel (cpm-m4) and it has a very good heat treat and ive had a tenacious and the lock failed while i was cutting 550 cord and i got cut very badly about 100 stitches

  • @shawn4201111 Well I've put adequate use on my tenacious and its been sharp for 5 days. There is definately wear on the edge, but its still hair cutting sharp.

How did the lock fail when you were cutting the 550 cord? I'm not trying to poke fun or anything, just curious to know. I couldn't imagine the lock failing from that. Maybe you had a faulty blade?

  • @FFJabarr no not the lock the scale cracked and the blade popped off the pivot idk how that happened and when i said 3 days i meant use to the point that its borderline abuse

  • I just started lauging when he said it was made for the M4.

  • dude I LOVE your review form knife keep it up man

  • Some of the stainless steel seems like a durable metal to have on a carry knife. Nutnfancy I have a question for you. I've been wanting to get a nice knife with a sizable blade to carry on the job. But as far as knifes go I'm lost. Do you have any good recommendations on folding knife with a solid blade with great grips. Thank you. Continue the good work.

  • Great blades

  • $599 not really surprised Damascus steel and carbon fiber handle go figure

  • Could buy a microtech for the price of the last knife, maybe I'm just biased because I don't like liner/frame lock knives.

  • @superstreetdogg You have been rejected by TNP Nation. Now you can use all your new free time to learn how to type. -Lt Col Nutnfancy, the guy who dropped you into the fight in the first place and covered your ass from the air...you're welcome

  • @nutnfancy In regards to "superstreetdogg". Just sounds like some nube with a chip on his shoulder. Any real soldier comes to realize that we are all parts of the same team and all working towards the same goals. Loved your response, well said and profesional. Good job on the reviews, even if many of the items are way above my pay grade (E-6). Also, thanks for the lift and the air cover.

  • @superstreetdogg lol, looks like someone has a major attitude problem : )

  • Good booth review

  • Will u please give us a top 10 best folders to carry as an LEO and EDC please for under $150. Again, keep up the awesome vids. Saw u and doodle at shot but u looked busy so did not want to bother u. Arizona LEO

  • hey bud . long time sub .... i wish i could do a vid response to this . too much for text ... point being thees knives are way too expensive . obviously not to the rich man . but i.m broke so i.m cheap . could not imagine spending so much . my letherman wave is 60 buck . i think thats expensive worth every penny but still expensive

  • @305dade8a Yep good comment. I will say that I don't own any ZT knives. Like you I am pretty happy with the lower priced blades that deliver tremendous value. They are over priced for what you get usually but some guys like that.

  • @nutnfancy well then for what price should they be sold at?? you sell your spyderco persistence for 130$! yes it takes time to make those but so do the ZT knives. i think 200$ is even cheap for the Hinderer knife.

  • Comment removed

  • @nutnfancy i ahve to check out your reviews of those...but already I can see too heavy! but, if one was to consider the expensive cousin, strider, how do they stack up? and is the strider warrantee worth the paycheck???

  • @305dade8a Im with you man. i aint got the money to throw around

  • Like how he takes the criticism. You mean gimping!!!? Nice blades!! That CF (last blade) cost more than my 2011 truck payment!! Damn!

  • no 350 info????

  • I've been waiting for this video! As a TNPer and as a ZT knives enthusiast. Thanks!

  • @giupio88 p.s.: I'd like to see something more about the 0750 talon knife; that kind of blade shape is quite effective in my opinion.

  • Simply outstanding!

  • *CAMERA SHAKE*

  • handle for the 777? looks awesome!!!

I can tell it's going to blow the bank

and the price is fair for what it is, still ouch lol D:

  • As soon as he said $325 for a pocket knife I stopped watching. Just couldn't continue....

  • "speak loud bro" lol

  • No Z350 I vas sure you would like that blade because for $130 you get a great S30v ZT EDC knife

  • Laureen @2:57 lol

  • My heart skipped a beat on the last one there... I was scared it was some $1200 knife.

MSRP of $599!!!??? It seems like a lot but it's within reach if you really want it. That's honestly an awesome price for what that is, just throwing out my personal opinion. I'm sure the street price will be HIGHER due to demand, but regardless, something like that under 1k is pretty amazing to me.

  • kydex sheaths all the way

  • Totally, dude?

  • Sheesh...sell your firstborn and buy a knife. Ouch!

  • Purely opinion and preference here, but to me this video is full of ugly and crazy expensive knives. Oh well, as long as I can't afford it, I'm happier if I don't want one.

  • i dig a sculpted butt lol

  • I absolutely love the pocket clip on the 777.

  • I did not like that last knifes handle... they need a way to make a flipper LOCK BACK... I am not a big fan of liner locks... HATE frame locks

  • @vampire847 I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as a flipper lock back. How would that even work? The lock bar would be in the way of the flipper. Not possible.

  • @tamaleaga10 I know... it sucks...

  • @superstreetdogg Awesome comment!!!

  • Wow, I was not a fan of these knives. Yes they might be good knives... but with their prices are a out of hand here. I love it when you go after them, "This knife is a boat anchor." Good. Feet to the fire. I wasn't impressed. SORRY. it is what it is.

Sometimes I lug around a $30 Buck knife with bottle opener and I BEAT ON THAT KNIFE. Still rocks. If I drop it I don't shriek in fear. Good things may cost, but your average joe can't afford these outrageous prices. Ah well. Thanks for posting!

  • @superstreetdogg how is he rude you stupid person

  • You should have asked where is the 0780 along with all the Kershaws we saw in 2011?

  • @Konban9vikar no kidding, dude. they announced that echelon at shot last year and it's nowhere to be found. the other us-made stuff, is really hard to find. talked to a dealer at a recent gun/knife show who said that he was having a hard time getting any us-made products from kershaw. hey, kershaw!! if you're listening, we want to buy your knives, but you have to put them on the shelves!

  • "Nice gimping on the butt."

    Oh that came out wrong!

  • Hmmmm.....none of those move me at all really. Kershaw does make some other decent blades for sure, but these just don't do it for me.... Still a good booth review bro!

  • Kydex instead of Nylon sheath please. :-)

  • I can't imagine paying gun prices for a knife...No friggin way

  • $500!!! oh my!!!:( i guess im going to cry myself to sleep tonight lmao just kidding but wow i dont have enough pennies in my piggy bank to buy that last knife

  • I feel like I wouldn't use the Triple7's adjustable lock up but I do love that blade.

  • I guess people don't understand the difference between MSRP and MAPP pricing. Guess what people, nobody pays MSRP. The ZT0560, you can get it for $260.

  • WOW those are some good looking blades!

I wanted that one knife until I saw the sheath. Give me the kydex sheath and I will buy it!

  • My pants are wet after looking at the Tripple 7.

  • I HAVE THE 0200ST AND THE FRAME LOCK BAR SYSTEM IS A FAIL . IF YOU TRY TO CKACK A NUT SHELL WITH THE BACK OF THE BLADE ,THE LOCK RELEASES AND ALMOST LOPS OFF THE USERS FINGERS ,AND THAT THING IS SHARP .I'M GOING TO MACHINE OUT A LOCK THAT WILL LOCK THE LOCK WITH A SPRING AUTOMATICLY .OTHER THAN THAT I LOVE IT AND CARRY IT EVERYDAY .

  • like this if you think Microtech sucks for copying the 0777 design!

  • @scottb8907 It's especially slimy when you know the whole story, it was deliberately copied for vindictive, petty, and ridiculous reasons. No microtechs for me!

  • 777 WANT!

  • Yo Nutnfancy.... Head on over to the Condor knife and tool booth.... I bought a condor Parang last year and its a freakin unbelievable chopping machine... Total value that you should find very appealing... Go check out something called a Boomslang and see if it doesnt strike your Fancy....pun intended.

  • I have zero tolerance for the price of their knives.

  • triple seven is triple SEXY!

  • Nothing in the ZT line appeals to me. Same function is available from other manufactures at half the price.

  • over $500 for that 777? No thank you!

$299 I will think about it.

  • @EmperorArek $500 MSRP. It'll be a lot cheaper

  • 9:30 classic....what were they thinking.

  • The Syrians or the Europeans had one ugly baby. Too busy! Its like wearing plaid, pinstripes, and polka dots.

  • Im with Nutn on that sheath!!!

  • I'm kinda pissed that I have to watch Obama ad campaigns before Nutnfancy videos!

  • @widgetwilco The wonderful part about that is that the Obama Campaign just provided me some more money to go and buy more guns and ammo for TNP.

  • @nutnfancy I dont mind the ads as long as we get to see some more sweet knives too!

  • @nutnfancy Irony at its best. Keep up the great work Nutn, and thank you.

    A1C USAF

  • @widgetwilco We get Ron Paul adds , in Nevada and thats a good..

  • @zrili Ditto. In Arizona lol

  • @widgetwilco Pretty much a win-win,they loose money which goes to tnp,and they won't get any voters by showing ads to tnp audience.

  • I love my ZT they are defiantly worth the price.

  • LOVE the Zero Tolerance line! Thanks again for doing SHOT 2012!!

  • more please!!!

  • Why does everyone want something for nothing? These are some of the best production knives ever made, just because they're priced high does not make them over priced. Want a BMW or a Kia? I'll take the BMW even if I have to buy it used and live off Ramon noodles for a year.

  • Really excited about the 560 series. I'll wait for a ranger green handle though.

  • A price point sucks

  • Man that 777 is ugly!

  • Comment removed

  • Costs WAAAAY too much.

  • @ryotaryuu I saw them at the Shot Show I turned away from the opportunity to Distribute them.as I felt they are over priced.

  • Great knife, I'd rather spend $600 on a gun or ammo

  • Prices. Suck. Less.

  • Triple7 knife or Eotech sight?

  • Next year could you give some exposure to smaller, more elite brands. I have a Les Baer pistol and it's godly, he had a booth at SHOT but he gets limited exposure. GO TNP!

  • Dude that blows!! LMFAO

  • awesome...i own one of the zero tolerances. stunning blade. best knife i own.

  • You need the camera shake on those prices Nutn

  • I have never been impressed with Zero Tolerance. The quality is good but the price is just too much for a blade, fixed or folding.

  • MMMM, love me some ZT knives. They may be big and pricey but they ain't kidding on the hard use. Hold one, before you think otherwise. ZT 0350 and 0550. Oh, and not to go against anyone, I mean we all like I knives here! I'm only like 150 lbs, I can carry either of those knives no problem! But hey, to each their own. Too bad Spyderco wasn't letting people take pictures of the prototype knives =/

  • Sweet Looking blades. The zero tolerance 3x7. blade looks sharp, but for $599 msrp its no working mans blade. In hard use do you believe that blade would break at the weld ?

  • Nice video.....Only seen one but thats big maybe.

  • ive always wanted a Hinderer. cant wait to get ZT 561.

  • damn for 600 bucks id rather get a custom blade but that folder is sexy

  • Cool Review. By the way, she was HOT! LOL! Thanks guy!

  • lol nutn told him..."WHAT!?!? that sheath blows!" hahaha

  • Hey kershaw, the pure kydex sheaths are way better! We don't need any nylon when it comes to knife sheaths.

  • $599!!! Wow I'm glad I was sitting down!

  • hey those knives were shit hot but can u do me a favor can you find out what knife did the rock use in the movie fast five i think it was a sog

  • Last knife make my heart beat faster...

  • Three years ago, nutn and Sootch00 we're the ones that turned me on to the ZT lineup. Because of them, I bought my first high quality knife: a ZT0350. Now I'm pretty pissed off, because of all the models, that's the one that nutn skipped over!!!!

    Great review anyway.

  • i was excited for this video because i hadn't really looked at zt knives until i realized the minimum you get get them for is like 200 dollars great vid though

  • Perhaps we will see a budget 777 in the future. The Kershaw Cryo is similar to the 0550/0561.

  • I am buying a ZT this year, they are beautiful :)

  • OH well, i was happy though i saw Zero Tolerance, Thanke for going :) Love your vids!

  • These knives look great, but other than the $100-$150, maybe even $200 blades are fantastic. Anything higher than that, and I don't want to use it, which then ruins the fact that it is made out of such fantastic materials. Depressing. The most I'd ever spend money on is an Emerson.

  • I have never heard you sound so tired...SHOT kills.

  • is tacticle doodle your son?????

  • spyderco booth

  • PFI always looks so bored.....

  • Comment removed

  • Good review, thank you for posting it. I have had a bad experience with the customer support of ZT. Called twice, left message, no answer or call back...Unfortunately I got burn buying the 0300 that 'skipped' QC. Also, they started with saying that their main market is LE/Military - and they keep saying that- ...but I don't see a E3-E4 type spending $300 for a knife (knifenuts excluded!). And ZT line keeps pushing out high end (highly priced) products.

  • the nylon sheath is ugly and just looks cheap, if you put a +100$ knife in a crappy sheath it says a lot about you as a person.

  • i like the ZTs. yeah they are pricey but you get what you pay for. yes, they are "heavy" but i carry a 5oz. knife every day and dont mind. if 5oz really bothers you that much then idk how you can carry a gun.

  • 12:20- 12:24 hahahahahhaha I KNEW IT!!!

  • Big zt fan loved this vid more knife vids love it

  • I will never spend more than $100 on a knife it is a complete waste of money

  • No video description.... Who are you, & What have you done with Nutnfancy...

  • where at in the video??

  • Must confess I didn't reach the end of this vid, not a fan of ZT's.. They're just chunky, funky and very pricey!!
