@odmcarp They take the boom off the crane because it would be too heavy, long and tall to travel on the roads. Look at all the axels on the trailer that carries it. Notice how when its on the trailer it is as tall as the other trucks on the road.
I bet this thing turns more heads better than any 2 million dollar exotic super car. This is a very high quality video. This is terrific material for a scale modeler like me to try scratch building.
salut tres bonne video et tres belle grue Propre ,entretenue et bien graisser vous devez vous regalezr a travailler evec un tel materiel bon courage pour la suite de la part d un grutier d 'AC 700
@kratzerxxx@kratzerxxx no there is no Phil based Mammoet, but they do contracts projects here. Mammot pays for local riggers from few rigging companies here like Royal Cargo.
WOWOWOWOW, thanks EVER so much for the video, this is something you would never see normally. It really shows just how bloody ingenious Leibherr have been with the design of this crane, really clever trick stuff.
What a hell is this!! I dont understend.

I love how there are hydraulic pistons just to move other hydraulic pistons :)
Is this Opel Corsa standard equipment on that crane? :) What is it used for?

for what reason is the boom is taken off one truck, and put onto a trailer?
why not drive the crane on the first truck to where it needs to go?
