As we pay the taxes in this god damn country we should decide what we pay for and child protection would not be on top of my agenda. If the powers that these people had weren't abused and used to victimise people then there wouldn't be a problem but if you are disabled and your face don't fit in this god damn country then you get your child snatched. They harp on about emotional abuse. Isn't snatching kids for no reason emotional abuse.

Children are supposed to be placed in care as it is viewed as the less of two evils and safer for the child, I would love to see the proof. Exposure to drink, drugs,prostitution,trouble with the law and four times more likely to become pregnant before they leave care, 10 times more likely to suffer mental illness...

I left the system in 1991. its taken me this long to be free from the fear of the system. i'm only speaking out because I'm sick to death of the PR machine bull shitting you all about the reality.
I could tell you a horror story from my Mother,the retired social worker but I won't.I just want any child in the States 13 and older to know that they have the right to petition for themselves.The can get their own independent counsel&advocate.
