this was the raven himself on his last album production in Prague and he never did the live gigs due to his other commitments RIP MATE OK love what you did for K J the best was when you were playing with them ok the last years from 2003 to 2007 awsome the tightest band and in a 2000-3000-people venue was breathtakingly live and so frigging good god bless ya mate soo good ok Craig dundee ,scotland
I'll admit I'm late at catching on to this band but as they say, "better late than never". The more I hear from them the more I regret they canceled their North American tour. I was really looking forward to seeing them in Scottsdale but hopefully they will re-schedule. Killer video, by the way!

You and the gang have done a great job on the lyrics, but im sure its - "and with strange aeons even death may die" from H P Lovecrafts Necronomicon-but the `Down to my first breath` is a great lyric, I dont think its right-A collected KJ lyrics would be great-Id put up the money if they wanted to do 1000 nice limited copies....
Hi! Thanks for your details. Very interesting. I checked the lyrics several times now but cannot agree to what you said. I actually made a correction at the beginning where I think Jaz sings "What have we left that we see" which makes more sense to me than the one before...anyway, his singing is not always clear to be sure about what he sings. Your source may be true and correct, but it sounds more like "will" to me. Thanks anyway for your comment. Always welcome! Cheers.
Wow! This is a mind-blaster! I love the keyboard progression they bring up throughout. Incredible! Gonna see them Saturday! Cheers to the Gathering from the Liberty Conspiracy!
hope you enjoyed a mind-blasting concert...not the same stuff, but i saw deep purple last week and they even played my all time fav "hard lovin man" ... good ole rocknroll....
@flare435 Interesting you mention that, Deep Purple and Killing Joke fan here. I'll bet seeing them open with HLM after 40 years of never playing it live was rather MAJESTIC! I've been there and back to see Purple but they have let a lot of fans down in the last five years, at least they pulled the gong out and are playing such a great piece of their history. About Killing Joke, saw them last week and they fried my ass! But funny enough it was like seeing Purple without playing SMOKE no EIGHTIES
hi there! well i'm not a DP fan or follower and i've never been but songs like "hard lovin man" really kicked it and to hear it live was f..cking brilliant. actually a friend of mine is currently on tour with the singer of DP and Foreigner on a kind of "classic meets rock" thing and he told me it was (here around germany, austria and switzerland) as good as sold out. i'll meet him soon to pick up some more details...
as for KJ...i am a fan and follower. seems you're one of us now ;)
sure, afterburner is also on the single an a killer song...mean and powerful. but it's different from universe b. you can hardly compare both songs...very difficult cause both are brilliant in their own way...
but thanks anyway for completing the circle...cheers!
@flare435 Again, one of the best uploads....Like a level 5 salvia trip (without the toxins and drug stigma, of course)...I'm racing quite swiftly in my own personal chariot, the words "Love is stronger than death" remind me of the One who defeated death. If there's any truth to that then the next world is the one to ascribe to indeed! Personal chariot, sure- but plenty of room for guests!
Hi All! Thanks a lot for posting!!! Universe B is still one of the most powerful songs ever written by KJ and has never lost its might and power to me. A fortress in the sea of mediocrity!
This is the best KJ song of all time, as far as I'm concerned. Why this was left off the Hosannas album is beyond me, but I'm glad this video was made in 2006, or I'd never have heard it. Cheers to the gathering!
este track està en la versiòn japonesa del album "hosannas from the basements of hell" o en la 3-track cd single "hosanna..." como bonus track junto con "afterburner".
Killing Joke are gods. More than just a band, more than just music; they are a manifestation of something far greater: a primal subconscious intangible essence of humanity ... true genius. Utterly unique, untouchable, essential.
I don't know any other band that could play a song like this! When you hear it, you are immediatly there: in universe B, in the universe of kiling joke! fantastic! I will ever love them....!!!
This footage was taken from Kubrick's blockbuster 2001 a space odyssey, it's the final scene, but some parts were rearranged by the author of this clip.
Hi! Thanks for commenting to all of you! This song is still one of the best ever done by KJ. And maybe in the future there will be a B-side compilation, though most tracks are already available on their re-issued albums as bonus tracks or on older KJ compilations (Alchemy-the remixes, Wilful days, Unperverted Pantomime etc.) Keep on Jokin'! flare/EGOY
Sounds a little bit like "Extremities", but also like its own song! Quite good. Can't wait for a B side compilation in the future. ("Drug", "Nervous System" "Psche" etc)
Top work on the video SC, n top work on re-posting it flare, I just got the XXV Anniversary DVD of Killing Joke's and it kicks ass, check it out, mite be stuff from it on youtube actually..
Hi SC! Thanks to you! I more than enjoyed the video...it's art...the kind of art I like. My appreciations to your outstanding work! Greetz from Germany!
Too right! I tried to transcript the lyrics but failed to get it all out simply because Jaz's voice is...very intense. I will try again. Anyone got the Japanese version of the album? The track is included there a bonus and might be in the booklet! Anyone...?
thank you Britain for Killing Joke ....

scooderfry 11 months ago
@scooderfry most of the scene was from the 1968 movie "2001: A Space Odessy" and the rest of it was from the 1997 movie "Contact."
