this method is gay if you have m33 cfw then you press select and put usb output to umd disc you copy and paste the file to your desktop and then you rip the gamr and then you put it back to the iso folder (once you put the usb output back to memory stick)

The PSP has a 333Mh processor. My friend has 3 computers hooked up at home, one new computer running XP and two old computers running Windows 98 (networked for Unreal Tournament), running at... 333Mh. My old computer runs Windows 98 SE and it's got a pnetium 2 at 266Mh. So the PSP should have no problem handling Windows 95 or 98, or even something like Ubuntu for that matter!

It does have a 333MHz processor regardless if Sony made a poor choice to tune it down, and even at 222MHz it should handle old windows just fine. You don't have windows vista on your psp, all you have is a dumb portal! You can't even run vista on a psp because of a lack of RAM and disk space needed to run it.The highest version of windows you can run on a psp is 98, but it takes like 5 minutes to boot up, I know because I have it.

you van do this now using most higher custom firmwares such as any m33 firmware has this feature in the recovery mode to set your usb connection to read the umd drive

you can copy about 1gb game in about 4-8 minutes depending on the speed of your pc and usb connection

you can speed this up by making the vsh menu processor speed to 333mhz

it will increase the psp copy speed

In theory yes, but in reality not really. The PSP has a processor is caped at 222Mhz (but can go up to 333Mhz), and 32MB of RAM. At these low stats the PSP takes a long time loading both Windows 98 and 95. And once they are loaded they use almost all of the PSP's resources meaning there is not much to spare for applications. Even if you were able to run games the PSP will never support todays games due to it's graphics's card. You would be hard pressed to even run the original Doom.

You can run M.U.G.E.N. or WinM.U.G.E.N. on your PSP by running Windows 95 or 98 on your PSP. It's a DOS game where you search the web for different characters and stage screens and fight within a 2-d fighter. For instance, Sonic VS Fred Flintstone fighting in the Ryu Street Fighter 2 stage. Plus you can add your own music to the stages. Just remember to keep everything smaller than the memory card capacity. It's best to own 2gb's, and note that Windows itself takes up space from the card.

For this to work, the load time of Windows can be from 5 to 25 minutes, and then loading the game can take up to 5 minutes, so this is only for BIG M.U.G.E.N. fans, and try to keep the character list and stages to a minimum.
