@08Kutt If you liked this, take a look at my latest video where I run (roughly) the same coil on a full bridge - I'm using 2 series CDE 942 "standard" Tesla coil capacitors for 75nF at 4kV and somewhere around a dozen turns on my primary. This gives me a very high surge impedance tank circuit compared to other DRSSTCs, and means that I'm limited to around 200 - 300 A of primary current, but given the transistors I'm using, that's about as high as I'm willing to push them.
@08Kutt Thanks! I actually only intended the half bridge circuit as a temporary testing apparatus for the driver (my original goal was a brick coil), but it works so well that I'm making it permanent.
how many turns on the primary??? and what about your capacitor tank?? amazing.....
