I remember after the step out on floor the Tim and Elfie wondered if she could fight back for a bronze. Turns out that it was pretty much mathmatically impossible...too bad.

When you look at the scores she probably would not have even medaled had she hit all her routines. That is how competitive and tough the 92 AA field was. It is a joke that they would even speculate she might have still caught up for an AA medal after her mistake on floor with how tight the field was that year.

If you remember at team optionals she got the highest total than any other gymnast, it was 39. 687 same total score that Milosovici at AA, so I do believe that with a good performance in all 4 events she would have got a medal

She hit cold on both vault and bars though. Her scores were only 9.937 and 9.900 though. On beam and floor in team finals when she hit her best she got 9.912 and 9.925. So even that isnt enough to tie Milo's total as she is now at 39.674.. However scoring in the AA was lower than the team overall so I doubt she would even tie those scores. So I dont think she would have medaled even if she hit all 4 events.

As for team finals maybe the judges there for team finals liked her more than the AA final judges. They are different judges after all. Even Kim said herself after the AA final she was dissapointed with her scores which "even when I was hitting didnt seem that high". There were more mistakes in team finals too and more hitting cold in the AA. Gutsu would have won individual team optionals and team overall scoring easily without her fall on beam too, much easier than she won the AA.
