Heard them first through a friend - L&R have always been a superb band, not enough credit/coverage given them. They were #1 influence of earlier goth. My God, could they sing/play. Great band, RainPoetry has it right: no matter what these guys are KICK ASS from start to finish!

Love the song, and L&R; but not to crap all over it: the lyrics are a direct rip-off of an anonymously credited Americana poem circa 1936. Still love the rendition though.

@TheGend This was the opening cut on the So Alive tour.... saw them at Tupperware, Orlando on the opening USA show. Dan's guitar was WAAAAAAY too loud, and I basically got my ears blown out for three days from the first two minutes of this until Kevin managed to get the sound guys to read his signals and drop Dan's volume. Glorious memory.

Superb lyrical development.

Love and Rockets are the bomb. Saw them 20+ years ago as a young teenager and they blew me away.
