how friedman emulated malmsteen?..well he wrote all most every solo for Jason becker in cacaphony because becker was out of idea´s...sure many people may write good neoclassical solos and play awesome..but the fact is that they still copy yngwie..because yngwie made neoclassical and fast shredding..and not ritchie blackmore because he don´t sound like yngwie not even 1%..Uli jon roth don´t sound like yngwie either he just like the same scale..Yngwie is yngwie. Rest is copy cats

Once he did, he told him that if he wanted to play with him in Cacophony that he should learn a song or two. Three days later Jason learned a couple songs so perfectly Marty was surprised and let him in.
Anyway, point is. Jason wasn't out of ideas, he was never asked to write for the first album. Get your facts!
