What is this kind of music called? Because i can't find this kind of (indian) music elsewhere. I can only find traditional indian music with pictures of hindu gods and texts about them gods. But i am searching for music like the video above! With soft music and a smooth voice. Not a real religion text.
@Keepvogel55 search for sheila chandra, prem joshua, nacho sotomayor, denean, 1 giant leap, maneesh de moor, deepak chopra's "a gift of love", donna de lory, ikarus, karsh kale, karunesh, lal meri, makyo, moya brennan, nada, ofra haza, oliver shanti, tulku......
@Keepvogel55 as far as i know this kind of classical Indian music comes from the southern regions of India and is referred to as Carnatic classical music. The difference between this and other forms of Indian music is that there is a heavy focus on vocals rather than instruments. As you can hear there are no tablas or anything and even the sitar is very subtle and guiding. Hope that helped.
Thank you so much! My soul has missed it for about 20 years. so I sometimes play the scene just to be able to sing and dance along with it. Thank you. Would you know any more music like it, please?
is this really sakamoto?

@Lotrfan99 this is not Carnatic music. Please! This is north Indian Hundusthani classical. For Carnatic music the vocal is a little bit different.
