bodoh inilah keturunan nenek moyang melayu dr selatan thailand hingga terengganu yg dibawak askar siam lps patani kalah ke bangkok utk gali trusan kt sana smbil hidung tangan n kaki dicucuk buluh. tp depa bangang lani psl x pandai bahasa melayu. sama mcm org kedah, perlis n kelantan yg koya mngaku bangga org siam. dasar melayu bangsa bebal. psl tuh msia dh nk jatuh ke tangan bangsa asing.
@Thornoff4 I'm not sure of the family's origins. The father of the bride is one of the motorbike taxi drivers in my former neighborhood in Bangkok. Their are many Muslims in that area, especially along the canals.
@phrakanong Glad to hear that and Inshaallah she will grow to be a good Muslim and a great person in this world!!!. May Allah (Subhanahuwatalah) bless them, you and all the Muslims around the world :D.
alhamdulillah, great to see thai muslim brothers and sisters, Ameen ya rab. May Allah give them more happiness for the sake of his beloved our master saydiuna muhammad salallahalaihi wasalam
@downlifter The father of the bride told me that his daughter and son-in-law recently had a baby girl. I think they are doing well and are very happy now.
It looks like they're Thai, but maybe, their ancestors are Malay. It's kinda weird to see Thais (especially those who're not from Southern Thailand) to be Muslim, unless they're a convert. If the whole family and relatives are Muslim, it must be from an ethnic which is relatively Muslim, because being Muslim is unlike any other religions.. some ethnics in the world embrace Islamic culture like Arab, Persian, Hui and Malay.
Both the bride and the groom are Thai. I don't know if the groom's family has Malay roots or not. The bride's father is one of the motorbike taxi drivers in our neighborhood in Bangkok and he invited me to the wedding.

These people are Thai. Their families, and plenty of others, have been in the Bangkok area for many generations. It's not weird at all.

Are they thai - Malay?

It was much longer - made DVD copies for the bride and her dad. Didn't really do a good job of editing. Working on a newer version.
Appreciate your comment.
