  • I want her to be Elphaba!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Do you have anymore audio from this performance?

  • I currently attend Improv 101 with Marla and I have to say, she is the most talented person I've ever met. She's amazing in ever scene and she makes you feel comfortable and makes the scene easier for you to deal with. She's awesome!

  • I'm a fan of both... Katie's performance was more vulnerable and emotional.. Marla's is more powerful and strong. Both are undoubtedly extremely talented..

  • Haha I'll never look at fm radio the same way. ROFLMFAO

  • @marquez666 She is singing this song beautifully. It doesn't even sound like she's forcing at all. You're just jealous she can sing better than Katie. And how can you tell she's not giving emotions along with singing amazingly? Have you seen her live? And even if you have you must be blind because she is fantastic.

  • I love Marla Mindelle! She is one of the main reasons I want to see 'Sister Act' on Broadway, instead of on tour.

  • OKAY REALLY SH-K-BOOM OR GHOSTLIGHT NEEDS!!!!! TO GET A CAST ALBUM FOR THIS PRODUCTION WITH MARLA, SHE HAS THE MOST AMAZING VOICE IF EVER HEARD LIKE OMG SHES AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

  • It makes me sad to hear this... I get that she can sing, but she is working wayyy to hard in this song. Take a step back and care more about 'what' you're singing than how loud it should be. And at 2:05 she goes pretty much off key. I completely prefer Katie over Marla. Her voice is way too deep for this role, and she is one of those typical broadway belters who just sing too loud. And WTF did they do to the ending of the song??? It's too loud and crazy, it should be in the reprise!

  • @marquez666 I completely agree with you! thank-you

  • @marquez666 I completely agree with every word! Marla is an incredible singer, but Katie's voice seems more suited to the character, as her voice is more vulnerable in this song.

  • I have followed Marla every since Pocahontas .. (color of the wind).... OMG

I love that she is on broadway in this show.. When I saw her step out to sing on the Tony's.... I literally screamed OMG ITS MARLA MINDELLE!!! and my friends stared at me... :O

But she made it clear why i yelled lol...... hunny can mix!

  • She is amazing. I was going to buy the CD when I saw the musical however I saw that it was the London cast and not the Broadway cast!

  • She puts Katie to shame. Katie's mix is way too weak for this song. Sorry, Brits.

  • @Jman383 fact of the matter is brits are always gonna prefer Katie, Americans are always gonna prefer Marla...

  • @pianoplayer0016 I'm Canadian and I prefer Katie but Marla has a nice voice.

  • I HATE that they changed the reprise of this from London to where she doesn't get to belt that final note!!! She's tooooooo good to be drowned out by gunshots, plus it ruins the moment. what a star.

  • I WAS AT THIS PERFORMANCE!!! Pianoplayer is completely wrong! Marla is fantastic!

  • I like the way Katie Rowley-Jones sang it, I think she gave more character to the song and I think vocally, she sounded so much better for this role. Marla's voice needs to sound less mature for this character I think but no doubt she's incredibly talented! :)

  • I love Marla.

  • Not only is Marla Mindelle one of the most talented contemporary musical theatre actress on Broadway right now, but she an amazingly kind person who when challenged, will belt you to pieces. Bow at the altar of Mindelle. Her vocal placement is perfect and her acting is top-notch. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to take it up with Whoopi & Menken, BC THEY LOVE HER TOO!

  • I think she sounds amazing!

  • @pianoplayer0016 disagree

  • @dc3fan2003 you honestly can not compare the two performances you can't feel the emotion in Marla's performence, plus her voice is whiney.

  • @pianoplayer0016 they have different styles. while i would prefer Katie's tone and strength, Marla brings a sweet and serene take on this character. rather than compare, i enjoy em both

  • @pianoplayer0016 FALSE

  • @pianoplayer0016 have you even seen Marla live on stage? you're being completely ignorant and unfair... as both have their OWN interpretation of Sister Mary Robert.... To say one is better than the other is just Ignorant!! They are Artists who have created their own Sister Mary Robert...

  • Could you upload It's good to be a nun and Haven't got a prayer? Would be woooonderful!

  • i sooo wanna see this
