I liked your video and choice of the Climber Plus (on the left, if I have them mixed up). I, however, prefer the Exlorer Plus which adds a magnifying glass (more useful w/age), a phillips, an awl and dedicated can opener. A little wider, but the extra tools come in handy (for me, anyway). You're right, that hooks gotta go. And as far as missing the wood saw, I have found it to be almost as useless as the hook in town or camping.
What is good about having that cross head screwdriver which opens in the middle from the back, Is you can wedge your fingers against it creating quite a strong lock, It certainly worked well I put a small bolt on a internal door, I do think you are right when you imply that the hook should only be on the largest tooled models, As it won`t be used as much, So something else would be better
Great video! I completely agree that Victorinox should have taken out the parcel hook and replaced it with a reamer, much more useful. I see no purpose in having the hook except for maybe carrying paint cans with that fat metal wire for a handle.
