They looked pretty happy to me. But is that out of fear?Plus they dont look like they are on "deaths door", and look well looked after.

It depends. Whether or not this is slavery, depends on these two factors:
1. Do they get paid for this? if so, how much?
2. What happens if they don't want to do this?
