if u want to learn karate.go to okinawa or japan or anywhere but not in singapore.singapore karate are just a sport karate.i dont think the instructor teach their student the real karate.

Wow I trained at the McNair Road dojo back in 1973 under Sensei Ishikawa. He was 5th dan back then. Use to live up the road, about a 4 min walk away. That old house has been demolished.
Had a look at the vids. Are you with IOGKF in London? I trained with Sensei George and Ernie when I was at the Okinawa Budosai in 2004. Also trained with Chris de Wet in Singapore.

That depends on who you train with... there are a few places that teaches Okinawan Karate... junbi undo, hojo undo, smash and grind bunkai... etc

Nowhere. I lost interest after a year. Was swept up in the Bruce Lee craze (before the died). Lots of kids were doing his high-kicks.
