  • yay, it's time they made a local train run express and a express train running local, good video!

  • Thanks!

  • Lol, it's like saying TAKE THAT (A) TRAIN!

  • what are PRE-R44s i never heard of that?

  • Any 60fter before the R-44's came along!

  • oh wow that is confusing just say R32-R42

  • It not confusing!

  • nice shot from the front!

  • Thanks!

  • you know that guy Yankee504 or something????

i went to his channel and it said he rated this video one star

  • Yes I know and thank you for bring it to my attention!

  • Can we all just pay attention to the fact that the MTA is about to literally KILL the W, and Z lines!?!

  • It hasn't been voted yet and this vid got nothing to do with the W and Z trains, Also its ironic you can tell someone to pay attention when you can't pay attention to the details in my vids b/c you ask the same question like 5x already!

  • Are there any plans to upgrade the equipment on the C line? I guess the R32s are reliable given that they've been around, but they're over 40 years old. If there are plans to upgrade, any idea what the replacement series will be?

  • They were doing track work and other things and I don't what is going to replace the C!

  • The C will get R46s very soon. i believe the A and C will swap cars, C becomes exclusively R46s while the A will be only R44s and R32s.

  • Yeah ok.....the C will not have 75fters. Its a 60ft car line and it shall remain that way!

  • @JamaicaQnzFreak like it or not, the R160s will retire all remaining R32s and R42s by June 2010. once that happens, the R143s and R160s will be the only 60 footers in the system and there are no plans to put the latter on the C.

  • 75fters do not belong the C....just add 2 extra cars and call it a day. 75fters will not help the C any better the way it is now. The Fulton Street/8th Avenue Line will be boring now b/c of those 75ft shits!

  • @JamaicaQnzFreak yeah ok. if you do not want to believe that the R160s will replace the rest of the pre R44s, go ahead. if you do not like the 75 footers, do not ride them, just like how i avoid the A line and do not get on an R42 J/Z.

  • 1st of all I been already knew the R-160 are replacing the older SMEE's and I will avoid the Fulton Street Line if its mostly 75ft shitters. The C will get the same grade as it did in the past b/c of those lame ass 75fters!

  • go ahead. best thing to do to not go insane like me. the R38s killed the C last year and the R44/46s may do the same thing, though Fulton Street riders love the 75 footers for their "Smooth and comfy" rides.

  • Their rides are no smooth of comfy. The brakes are shooty and the seats are annoying so they don't know what is a real smooth and comfy ride!

  • i know you hate transverse seating, but others do. i do not get knocked around in the 75 footers like i did with the 60 footers, especially slants. got lots of bruises from them, but hey, you have your opinions and people have theirs.

  • Transverse seating sucks....they are smaller and tight. It hurts my backs and like I said they are annoying. You are right ppl are entitle to their opinions but I'll continue to say 75fters are not the best subway trains!

  • The only 75-foot car I like is the R46. Those I find smooth and comfortable and useful out of all the other 75-footers. The (C) will get R46s but should be a mixed package of 46s and 32s for a while. You'll still see a 32 on the (C) like you see a 32 on the (A).

  • That's your opinion and your entitle to it but the C is better with R-32's only!

  • I 100% agree with you!

  • No doubt!

  • Actually, you're right about the "smooth" part; the R46's will get smoother after their overhaul.

  • @mtattrain They are not smooth nor they will get any smoother!

  • Actually, the R46's have some type of springs, and removing them will result in a smoother ride.

  • @mtattrain.....Removing off the rails will 20x better and they still won't be any smoother with or with out the springs!

  • Ok, but that's whay I learned. Just wait 5 more years.

  • Whoa, be a bit more stable with your camera, bro!

  • My cam was stable...it just blurred a lil!

  • what car number were you railfanning on? i wish the C always went express i hope it is 3925 on that car it was the lead car i scrolled the signs on that car

  • I don't remember!

  • Wow! The second person besides me uses IND St. Nicholas Avenue as a Line rather then CPW/8th Ave! =D! Excellent Video 5 stars for you mate! Even tho it was blur a bit..

  • Thanks and the camera was acting up so thats why it blurred a lil bit. I just figured I'd use St. Nicholas Avenue since Central Park West ends around 116th Street!

  • yeah ok

  • Cool :)

  • Thanks!

  • When did you make this video? I was actually in the CPW Subway vicinity today.

  • Try looking through my description and you shall seek your answer!

  • shitty RFW :( fucking vandals...

nice to see you went HD! :)

  • Thanks and I'm so glad I went HD...for some strange reason I always get the shitty RFW and its quite annoying!
