In my case I wanted my child after returning from Iraq and after my wife had slept with over 20 men and made videos of these encounters that I found. She blew all of our $600,000.00 that I earned during my sacrifice to better my family in Iraq. The courts gave her the home and everything in it forcing me to the street. My son wants to be with me having witnessed this behavior. But I now am homeless on disability and hungry do to amount of child support. My crime, surviving Iraq and coming home.

Child Support is the foundation to tell where the love was; wether married or NOT.

Breach of Contract and hidden intentions which are found out place only one party represented and yet so many have minimized laws and Corrupt prejudiced District Attorney's will have to answer the children when they grow up, and even before by ALL those who LOVED the families, & the beloved children.

I do wish Mr. Rosen had been available during my Raleigh divorce. I had never seen a more crooked bunch of lawyers as we had--Raleigh's most prominent and finest. My child and I still suffer the effect of loss and scars that the twisted money grubbers displayed. Families do not speak, and the wrongful insults and slanders, still cause tremendous suffering. Maybe I will write a book (with names) for our healing.

Why should a man be forced to pay child support for a child he doesn't want if a woman can terminate a pregnancy becuase she is not ready to be a parent? This is not a demostration of equal rights. Coming soon...I will have a website where people can sign a petition banning forced child support. This law should be passed immediately to be equal with Roe V Wade. It is unconstitutional to force a man to pay for a child he doesn't want.

Judges and attorney's as well as the whole system do not care about the children. Only the income they generate for it. Lawyers oppose joint custody bills because it would severly cut down on paying clients and billable hours they represent.

Hey I got an idea, how about as a lawyer you promote the ideal of shared parenting where both parents have time with the child equally and both parents provide for the child while in their care instead of putting a bill on male. I've never been a part of/ had relatives that were a part of child support issues as I've been blessed with unusually healthy relationships in my family (unusual in this day and age... sad.) If people could resolve all different sorts of issues the way Rosen described in this situation, I think that the world would be a much better place. All in all, he's right... it's about the children.

I am impressed with his ability to remain calm and keep a great speaking voice and eye contact as he knows this information from lots of experience. I wish I would have ran onto this video when I was going threw my own divorce. This video was very helpful in educating people on ways to make sure they are doing everything possible, when going to court for child support. Lee Rosen's voice sounds very good, he's very confident and presents the case well. I enjoyed hearing Helen's story and was suprised at how easily some child support cases can run. Obviously as he states those "horror" stories aren't the norm, but I really never realized that it could run so smoothly and quickly with just a private lawyer.

I can't help but wonder what the husband's work involves as being self-employed.

I'll just guess and say construction.

The attainment of a copying machine is a great idea as it can be used for more things besides only this need.

This is a great resource for people who are going through a divorce. Its sad to think that people would try to cheat their own children out of the support that they deserve. It is a disgusting reality that some people use child support as a weapon. be handled. The horror stories include spouses

who feed phony addresses to the courts so the other party never gets informed except by getting arrested. Our court system is sometimes manipulated to ones own advantage and some lawyers are the same. So called "dead beat dads" are useless if they are dead

broke and broken by the system. It's good to see lawyers such as yourself,not all states

Very informative video! I can not believe after they figured the numbers and got everything rolling she got her first child support payment in one week! That is just awesome all by itself! You always hear "horror" stories like he said in the video. I've heard of it taking a really long time for women to get their payments started. I think that is very important because caring for a child takes money and the father NEEDS to be made to help. I am glad that in this case he did. Again, great video.

I always figured it would be difficult and that it would be easy for the spouse to fudge the numbers. An extremely interesting video. I'm not completely educated on the topic of child support, so I never even thought of the problems that could arise from a spouse who is self-employed. Luckily, Helen's situation worked out just fine. However, if her husband did attempt to hide income, that would be a much more difficult scenario.
