@itseriko Hey Man. I swear bro dont ever give this beauty up. I have a 1994 honda accord lx and it was one of the best cars ive ever owned. I currently own a 2011 honda accord and holy shit do i have to say that it does not compare to the old model accords and boy do i regret selling that beauty. The drive steering and turning is so much better in the old accords.. and my old accord never gave me starting prob in cold however the 2011 accord does.. Bummer.. take care of this treasure
Typical Honda. If you religously maintain it and drive it mostly on the highway there's almost no reason why it shouldn't get 400k. I've seen quite a few Accords in my area with this kind of mileage. Can't say the same for American made cars.
@fixedgearforlife my cavalier 2.2l is making it there, i have 343,000 miles on it, just did the oil change at that interval, so what was that about an american car?
My 1991 Honda Accord Lx has 276,000 miles on it and it starts everyday. This summer will make 3 years for me. I bought the car in 2008 with 252,00 miles for $400.00. Money well spent.
I have a 92 Accord EX coupe that I got for free almost 2 years ago. It's rusty from being in NY for 18 of it's 19 years, but it's an excellent car. It runs like new, and everything works except the clock; the previous owner spilled iced tea on the dash, which killed the clock.
I have 208,000 miles on it, but there's a lot of life left in the engine. It goes 80 MPH on the highway with ease on trips to Orlando and Miami all the time.
best thing you can do for a Honda Mechanically is Replace the timing belt on time get the valve clearances adjusted at service and change the oil every 6 k without fail with a Quality oil, and dont take it into the redzone.80s & 90s Hondas pre Ivtec that is vtec seem to be bombproof, the newer ones are overly engineered and less reliable, in my experience models built in Japan fare best .
jeez, and I've been bragging that mine is gonna hit 250k this sometime this month. How's your rust coming along big dog? I had a freakin' bees' nest inside my rear well rust hole this summer. live in ny, lots of snow and salt. put up a pic of this thing, gotta see it.
What a great video, I want to see it cross back to zero when it makes the million-mile mark :) I remember "filming" (on Super-8) my 1970 Ford crossing the 100k mark (100k is nothing nowadays). Anyway, thanks for sharing!
Yup. I currently have 440k miles. Still going strong.
