  • Wrestling needs managers, great tag teams, and women who can wrestle

  • Cornette was the man, nobody had mike skills like the Louisville Lip, he lived and breathed Pro Wrestling. And the Midnight Express was always fun to watch

  • damn,i remember those belts.lol.OMG i miss these days!

  • the greates tagteam that ever was in nwa and wcw

  • Thurston LOL

  • as a kid I hated Cornette, now I klisten to him as an adult and he is pure genius with his promos

  • @dbsr111 I cheered for the MX and Cornette at a house show in Cincinnati in 1988-89. Stan and Bobby saw me about six rows back and laughed and pointed at me. Always loved Jim's work.

  • @RayNDeere That's an awesome memory. I love how Stan cracks up when Cornette drops that line about a driving across Ethiopia with a bucket of chicken.

  • @ar4216 I cracked up too. Don't blame Stan too hard :-)

  • @dbsr111 I feel the same way. I wasn't a fan but looking back I can see what a genius the guy was and is.

  • so how does wrestling go again? If the wrestlers can't shoot there way outta wet paper bag.....give em a managerto do it for them ??

  • Just scary on how much talent WCW HAD BACK IN THE DAY.They had World and US Tag champs and so many tag teams.Today they have to put singles wrestlers together to form the majority of the tag teams

  • The Midnights were 100x's greater than the RnR's

  • The Midnight Express was one of the best tag teams ever. Bobby Eaton was a great wrestler who could work with anyone.

  • @danteras23 I agree 200% with you, and Eaton had a great movelist, he could do anything. Leg drop from the top rope, suplexes, neckbreakers, stiff punches...He was awesome. And Lane was great too. What a team.

  • @JonathanVonErich The leg drop from the top rope was called the Alabama Jam.

  • @popcur Yeah, I know.

  • Cornette is the best promo of all time...point blank period

  • Bubba went to the wwf not too long after you.

  • Sweet Stan would have made a good Horseman.

  • @zulubobo I would have to disagree with you on this one and I'm a fan of Stan Lane, but not Horseman material

  • @mr2damngood73 stan was a pussy pullin machine

  • @okrabay Yeah that dude was a straight playa

  • midnight express=class

  • those are my favorite wrestling belts

  • 1:53 Stan Lane Corpsing?

    SEND FOR THE MAN!

  • My Boy Jim Does It Best!

  • classic

  • Stan almost lost it on the Ethiopia comment!!....he held character i'm sure til they got backstage....

  • Bobby Eaton: best fucking mullet in the history of the world!!

  • You can't find mic skills like that anymore and that was some funny shit, Big ups to

    J. Cornette.

  • Jim Cornette is one of the best wrestling managers around.

Also gotta love young Tony Schiavone with his mustache.

  • How racist!

  • The Ethiopia line is classic Cornette hahaha

  • i died laughing after that one, i don't blame Sweet Stan.lol.

  • I used to have that same Adidas jacket that Stan's wearing

  • @ebbowman

me too....i had the white with green.....matched my stan smith adidas shoes....

  • great to see Stan loose it at the end, too funny, Cornette rules.

  • Stan Lane's karate kicks may have been for shit but he sure did look the part.

  • In every promo that Jim Cornette cuts, you can see that Lane and Eaton and even Bubba (RIP Ray Traylor) are struggling to keep a straight face while Cornette is going off. I bet they fell on the floor laughing when they went backstage.

  • After that bucket of fried chicken line, Lane lost the struggle and started laughing.

  • There was nothing better than the interviews segments on World Championship Wrestling. Flair and the Four Horsemen, Cornette, Dusty Rhodes, the Road Warriors...great personalities

  • Cornette told like is, he push The MidnightExpress to be the best old school i like the rocking roll batles

  • Wow! These days they can barely keep one set of tag titles aflot much less two

  • That closing line about bubba strapping a bucket of chicken on his back. while riding a bike through Ethiopia. lol That is priceless. lol

  • Stan Lane lost it there, they kept straight faces up to that line, which gave me an all out belly laugh. As they were leaving, Bobby Eaton started laughing too

  • I played it from your message to me. I still busted up laughing at that closing line. lol

  • Or that 'Dusty Rhodes, I know your an expert on everything that smells like a horse' line.

    Cornette rules at promos.

  • @popcur That it why I admire Conette not just as manager or booker, but as a promoter in the biggest sense of the word.

  • I want that vintage Adidas jacket.

  • Cornette is one of the best mouth pieces, "your an expert on everything that smells like a horse." and his Mother's butler Thurston to carry the money.
