Did they find any archaeology of interest whilst digging?

@woodlanderUK Yeah mate lots of interesting things. From a cobbled surface to a beautiful glass bead and also a flint knife blade (approx 5500 yrs old).Was a brillant experience and i learned so much from it.

This was great, Are there any petroglyphs around the Dolmens? There is a petroglyph close to here that the "experts" say Is a shaman's vision. But I think it is just a navigational aid. One interpretation would mean "there is a good camp at the bottom of this hill" At the bottom of the hill is a dry cave & a fishing hole.

@MrBudwv > Cheers Bud. There aren't any Petroglyps around this area , or at least there is none that can be positivly id'd . as there is a lot of rainfall these tend not to survive and evey some local grave stones approx 500 years old are totally wore down by rain.

We do find occassional Petroglyphs usually in the form of "Ogham" which is what they used to write. This is made by straight lines both vertical and horizontal like a tally chart. Often the vowels represented Certain sacred trees.

@BlueDogBushcraft I am Familure with Ogham. There is a site here in West Virginia that is said to have some form of Ogham. From the picturs I have seen its' just wishful thingking tough. I was told of an old Shawnee site close to my office & hope to get out there in the spring for some videos.
