You know I remember seeing it, and I think it was what looked like a child's book (possibly similar to the one Caylee was showed to be reading in photos) somewhat blending in with the grass, shrubs, brush area at the site where the remains were found. But I'm not sure if it turned out to be that because other commenters said no, as if it was something else entirely or nothing at all so not sure if it was anything.

Also if you goto that site an type in caylee in the scaredmonkeys search box, then scroll to bottom an hit next page..keep goin to page 7 an watch the 2nd video of her phone pings from june 17-19th then stop the vid at 1:13. Notice 1 of those pings is in the same area of woods(which means her phone had to be there right?) Those vids were posted in November..before caylee was found.

OK.. I don't think the photo implies that that book had been IN THE BAG - but if it WAS in the bag, that might explain the fairly good shape it's in. But even a paper (possibly laminated) book doesn't "decompose" like body tissue! Even after being wet, IF undisturbed, it will dry out again eventually in time. With her comment about the book Casey DOES seem to be trying to place it into her alibi story. But forensic analysis puts time of death BEFORE the (fabricated) phone call on July 11.

Yes, it is the book little Caylee was reading while visiting great grandpa at what looks like the nursing home where he stays. Also that visit was on June 15...ON JUNE 15! The LAST day anyone saw Caylee. So I guess mom (or whoever) put Caylee in a bag with her book and clothes and anything else she had that day and just dumped her. Also, seems that bag was moved..maybe water moved it or animals moved it...EquiSearch has photos showing nothing at that location when a search was initially done.

I agree it looks like the same book. But HOW can this book or any book be in such good shape if it was lying in the forest, underwater for nearly 6 months?? Even if pages are laminated it makes no sense it should be crumpled, full of moss or stuff growing on it, completely discoloured etc. Caylee is a complete skeleton and the book seems fine!? Could this imply that Caylee and/or the book was moved @ some point and only recently be put there?

all i can say is what the ####! it looks like that exact book! casey is an even bigger monster than i gave her credit for. what did she tell that poor baby-to read her book before she went "night, night". it astonishes me how any human being would do this kind of sickness to a child. i feel sick to my stomach with grief for the way little caylee was just tossed out like trash. :(

Remember she said she had goten a 1 minute call and spoke to Caylee the day she was arrested then Zanny hung up? Police asked: What did Caylee say & Casey said she immediately started talking about her BOOK and Casey then immediately says "there are even videos of her readiong THAT BOOK." The same! Zanny was the nickname. Casey called her "Zanny the nanny". Some have suggested that "Zanny" in reality is street slang for XANAX, the powerful anti-anxiety medication which Casey may have used to put Caylee to sleep when she partied. So Casey's nanny was Xanax.

Trubisha, One of the most glaring mistakes Casey made was placing Caylee in "The Zone", Caseys secret childhood hangout. Where she buried her pets. How many "Nannies" know your secret childhood hangouts? Also because Casey always supposedly dropped Caylee off to the "Nanny". I think Casey was feeling safe about the dump at this point and was wanting to remove the baby from "The Zone" and put her into a dumpster (with the secret search)

Hi Mc, So far all I know is: - garbage bag - skull - duct tape - swimsuit and part of dress - sheet - nearby, possibly book - nearby (acre) skeletal remains - remains include hair, scattered bones (fragments), atleast 1 tooth - also animal bones, debris such as beercans - evidence includes tips from atleat 3 other people to check the location - the remains have been DNA matched to the missing Caylee - in the photo Albatross refers to you can see a bag also (sorry to clog folks)!

6. Check out the italian investigations into the death of Meredith Kercher. They are saying that all the forensics in the world won't help without circumstantial and psychological evidence. Thats what I like about Albatross's approach.

The only data KC has on Zenaida is beurocratic stuff like ID for universal and previous etc. Its computer stalking forsure!

In KC's BRAIN, Caylee is with Zenaida.

5. I think that KC took off (with Caylee)from home and reality kicked in when there was no sitter. No friend, no neighbour, no nanny or sitter in the first place and she was fuming and determined not to ask Cindy. Both C&G were apparently off to work.

She may have brought Caylee to shopping or a park and saw the other moms and kids and would have appealed to them...idealized them.

Like 'moses in a basket' she wanted them for Caylee (and herself). She stalked Zenaida!

4. (sorry, I see I post in blasts) About the stairs. KC is professing such a familiarity with 'Zanny' that she could drop her off at the stairs (which she says she did a bunch of times before). So KC didn't bring Caylee up the stairs...and 'Zanny' didn't come down to retrieve Caylee? Did Caylee just trundle up the stairs and knock?

KC has not accounted for what happens when a 2year old knocks and noone opens the door because noone was there! Zanny or not, noone opened the door that day!

3. KC did not 'bury' Caylee with her doll or have her kidnapped with the doll, purposefully! She'll say the kidnapper(s) wouldn't have known.

(When Madeleine was 'taken' her doll was left in her bed).

The problem is that KC professes that 'Zanny' was sitting for a year and half, had toys and clothes for Caylee (carseat etc), and funds to go to parks etc. This does not describe a sitter, especially for overnight, that would ignore the doll.

2. Rather than directly leading us to the body...which would have been too obvious...she started up this tour of familiar places including blanchard park, universal, sawgrass...I swear, hoping the cops would hang out with her until she finally suggests the woods hangout and voila!

Corvette, I think the 'chance to search' would have meant KC 'leading them to the body'. I think KC wanted the body found because she had already planted stuff to frame others. This explains her appeal to look in places familiar to herself and KC...aswell as appeal to Lee to look in familar places. She had already set up the scene.

See, Florida Hurricane Season runs from June 1st to November 30th... I believe Casey asked to "Secretly Search" around approximately October 6th. When I heard about the Secret Search, I immediately thought they would tamper/get rid of evidence and/or add to the crime scene to point blame to another source. When I heard Secret Search I knew then that Caylee was deceased. Well, I knew it before but this just reinforced it.

Nobody gets protection in prison other than protection by other inmates. Remember Jeffrey Dahmer? He too was under protected custody until found Guilty. Then it was into General Population where he proceeded to get shanked by another inmate, then he died. Can't wait!

I just think that's the nail in the coffin for old Casey considering she showed no emotion when bones were found at Blanchard Park but she sure did show emotion when they found bones by her house. That does look like a book..the book that she read at the nursing home was out of print since 1985 so it was most likely Casey's child hood book and she does say that when she talked to caylee she was talking about her book that she read.she made the statement from jail to lee that they didn't even find her clothes yet,so if she took the clothes then she purposely left the book and it fits in to the story that while she spoke on the phone when with zanny she was talking about the book she read.

To FourteenK, Thats what I always thought too, Caylee was scared, it showed on her face. I was blasted on some other blog people saying she was fine she was not scared. I thought too she just knew something was coming or maybe heard her mother earlier in day saying terrible things, one can only imagine.
