"I'm still alive, I have found Nirvana.. I have found Nirvana, and I'm still aliiive" ... Ok... Nirvana and Pearl Jam. She is definitely into grunge music...
I'm in a constant process of melding / marrying the right and left sides of my brain. This talk reminded me: the marriage is important. Recognizing the importance of the right brain is important. What an amazing insight. I personally need more of these reminders in my life. I aim to recognize my right brain more, and revel in it thoroughly. And hopefully, help build the bridge between the two selves. Thank you, Dr. Bolte Taylor!
I love how I wish to believe in the right side of the brain: Everyone be together, at peace with one another. But unfortunately my left side states the cruel reality. We are human, we all make mistakes. Mistakes that cause others pain, pain leads to hate, hate leads to more pain, then revenge which is a mistake, and back again the cycle repeats. "I'm Better Than You!" We need to get rid of that thought.
its amazing. same video, though the other was longer, and the responses so drastically different. the other page thought she was high and mocked her but here there is respect and appreciation. Amazing what a title to a video can do to draw the attention of the wise and unwise alike.
@TheLivingStone7 Dear one, this video was prepared as material to give insight to to a meditation workshop. I am happy to read your comment and to see that yes indeed, we find inspiring light in the words of commentators.
so inspiring and probably what will happen to us in the very near future a shift from the left brain to the right that will connect the world with the sacred and help it co create a new world with the divine. A lot of mystics have spent a lifetime to reach and objective state (that's what she describes when she is one with the universe and that she is in nirvana) and we should be granted the supreme gift of knowing this other dimension when alive. God Bless you all!
We all need to experience Salvia or smoke a butt ton of weed
Or try shrooms
^_^
I don't mind

wow some of what she describes is very similar to a powerful psychedelic experience...
KingIllski 2 years ago
Yeah, sounds exactly like egodissolution/egodeath which one can experience on high doses of (almost) any psychedelic.
Salvia is probably a lot like a stroke.

Illuminting! A path to understanding our own brains and learning to balance their left and right characteristics. What a blessing for us all.
