Cockatiels are SOO cute when they're trying to learn a tune. My old cockatiel, Casey, would get so mad at himself when we were teaching him the Adams Family tune and if he'd forget the notes he'd make this err err err err noise and then this garbled growl like he was angry that he couldn't remember the rest of the notes. It's so was soo cute.

yeah, they do that, but not all of them do,
you can try teaching them but push their heads down gently
