A Sheraton sounds very dissimilar to Gibson hollowbodies.

Very clean performance! I've tried playing this song on guitar and singing, and its not easy! I also like how he uses an epiphone and not a gibson. i'm pretty sure he could afford the real thing, but doesnt. It helps remind us normal players that you dont have to have $4000 guitars to sound good.

He does have a real Gibson ES-335, but he tends to use the Epiphone more. I think I read once that he put Seymour Duncan Anitquity humbuckers in it, and he feels more attached to the Epiphone than he does other guitars. An Epiphone Sheraton + decent pickups is still less than half of what a Gibson would cost.
