  • was macht der da

  • who holds the phone like that ? ... noone

  • @KikooSK the man, who tried to find the weak spot on its phone - me :)

  • @KikooSK Do you not get the point of the video? He can grip that Nokia however he pleases and as tight as he wants, and no signal decrease. If any, very little. If you hold the iPhone 4 at the bottom, you say "Bye" to your signal.

  • i tried your death grip and it didnt work on my phone:S

  • Who the firetruck holds a phone like that?

  • @Eff3ct3D the man, who tried to find the weak spot on its phone - me :)

  • every phone has its weakness, nothing is perfect, you can see u're not perfect urself... that death grip thing, im not saying it does not exist but its very rare. I hv that phone myself and it was working perfectly fine in the basement when other phones has no signals at all... that death grip is probably on the top left around the SIM card area, thts also for the GPS signal. I have just tried what you have done in the vid for five minutes, my bars were still up o.o" i'll post a video response(:

  • @Reklats3 good for you, so u didn't found your phone's weak spot at all and i didn't saw anything to prove in your video, only that you love your phone, i also love my phone, but i have open mind and admit the true and the true is that i found my phone's weak spot and you didn't-we are both happy with our phones :)

  • @shingobg

hey so whts ur fav phone?? : )

  • @Reklats3 my fav phone is the phone, that i'm using right now --> Nokia 5800 :)

I'm dreaming about Motorola Droid 2 and i'm looking forward to this phone in Bulgaria :)

  • @shingobg

    yay : ) haha

i bought mine from rogers, it has some functions that the oringinal phone doesnt.

im dreaming about the sony errison x10! i wanted tht phone like a long time ago : ( but when i knew about it, canada didn't hv it yet : ( and i needed a phone so researched this phone and its so awesome :P he he xD

anyhow, hey glad i made a frd on youtube :P tht likes the same phone as i do!!

i recently downloaded garmin, trying to use it now, tell u if it works later! : D

  • arooo mete ya el movil debajo de la tierra vaya timooo este movil esta bien hecho no como el iphone

  • death grip virtually does not work on the 5800 at all. you are definitely at a very low signal area because the antenna logo is showing instead of 3.5G. i literally cover up my whole phone which can be consider a UBER death grip and the signal wont even fluctuate. i am even on the carrier which is consider has the worst reception in malaysia. boo you

  • @Hahnck750i just make your own video and prove your opinion and post response.

  • @shingobg, u got a point but i think majority of the 5800 user's will never hav any issues. I m assuming about 98-99%% of 5800 users.

  • this is BS....nothing wrong with my 5800.

  • @turbojakey so you are happy guy 3 :)

  • @shingobg, how much did apple pay u to do this video :P

  • @turbojakey 0, cuz if u watch the video carefully @ the end i make fun of Apple and Steve Jobs for his foolish and unreliable response to the ppl who got the iphone 4 @ the first time with the antenna issues.

With this video i want to show, that you can make every single phone lose bars, if u find its weak spot, but unfortunately the weak spot of Apple's iPhone 4 is veeeeery weak and u can drop calls only by holding the phone casually, in this video i am not holding my phone casually :)

  • This doesn't happen on my 5800.

  • @OXINARF so you are happy guy 2 :)

  • I have 5800 and i have never lost any signal, even holding it like in this video.

  • @mickeykuzman so you are happy guy :)

  • well i have tested the "Death Grip" using my left hand just like how they held the iphone 4 and some of the phones in the apple press conference video. it went to down 4 bars i was on a location with ample to strong signal. have yet to try that usign a BB and Samsung phone or any droid powered phone

  • Orange Tsu HS?

btw... I've tried the same death grip like you did... But I did not got any drops, indoors and outdoors

  • @wj0102 yes - Orange Tsunami HS :) So you need more practice to drop bars with your phone :)

  • fake, i have 5800 and this antena work perfect

  • @fenixxx let me guess --> this video is "fake and gay" right? Give me a break troll - go watch some ray william johnson videos :-D

  • @shingobg fakeeeeeeeeeeee, tengo un 5800, y no le pasa nada, y a muchos que estan aqui tampoco, eres un fanboy de apple,

  • @fenixxx tengo mengo whateva --> no i'm not iphone guy and i'll never be :) I'm realistic guy and i admit, that each phone has foible and if you holding Nokia 5800 like i do at the top of the phone probably you will find the weak spot on your phone.

YOU CAN MAKE ANY PHONE LOSE BARS BY HOLDING IT IF YOU KNOW WHERE IS LOCATED THAT WEAK SPOT, BUT THIS DOES NOT MEAN, THAT WILL DROP THE CALL, LIKE IPHONE 4 DO. iPhone antenna is located outside and this is the bad news for Apple fans.

  • i dont have this problem at all guys!! i tried to hold my Nokia 5800 tightly in different direction and corner!! nothing happend!!! and one more thing, this guy is just using GSM and not UMTS!!! i have 3.5G and it is full!

  • @Goodnight82 you are not right becаuse i've just tested with 3G network ON and when i'm holdng the phone on the top and starts losing bars again...

  • that is absolutely not true, watchin your video i've done the same and nothing happen to my 5800, i got full bar in all your positions. i dont know what's wrong with your phone. i've tested the same thing on my friend's 5800 same result too. ARE YOU AN IPHONE GUY???????

  • @TheSantucio no i'm not iphone guy and i'll never be :) I'm realistic guy and i admit, that each phone has foible and if you holding Nokia 5800 like i do at the top of the phone probably you will find the weak spot on your phone.

  • "So we found out that Nokia 5800 has a death grip too"

Only when you hold it from the top in a very awkward way!

No one is gonna hold their phone like that while talking! Besides, I tried this with my 5800 and guess what? Not even a single bar drop!

And YES, I tried it in both high and low reception areas! No difference!

  • @qwerrty123098 yes, only when i'm holding the phone from the top and in very awkward way. :) No one is gonna hold their phone like that while talkning - yes, i did this only for the test :)

YOU CAN MAKE ANY PHONE LOSE BARS BY HOLDING IT IF YOU KNOW WHERE IS LOCATED THAT WEAK SPOT, BUT THIS DOES NOT MEAN, THAT WILL DROP THE CALL, LIKE IPHONE 4 DO.

  • i don't know what you did or how you did it but my 5800 didn't lose ANY bar.. the only time it lost reception was when i wrapped it up in aluminium foil :p

  • hot girls....i mean iphone fail

  • Whats the name of the homescreen "skin" you use ?

  • @Tonisyy the skin is PANORAMA 3.0_IND190, and the HS is a Orange Tsunami Mod + Full transparency of the icons mod + Original Nokia icons mod + Bg Language mod :D. You can find all installation files you need at ipmart forum.

  • @shingobg sweet thanks , gonna give it a go , :)

  • dude thats so stupid. first of all. iphone 4 got its antenas outside the cover and not covered like nokia 5800 so iphone's antenas wifi and gsm antenas are disturbing each other when touching both.

and this thing is "done" on nokia 5800 is that ur hand is disturbing the reception from the gms network antena. its nothing like iphone's

  • @FlyingDeath99 so iphone's 4 antenna (wi-fi, gsm, gps) design is worst than many other gsm models, inculding Nokia 5800 right? :)
