  • Recently Stone Mother was vandalized and defaced. Those of us who live near Reno, Nevada are appalled. Stone Mother is a sacred place as is all of Pyramid Lake. Those of us who are white, are privileged to be allowed to go onto the Pyramid Reservation. It is not known who defaced Stone Mother, but for those of us who care, we cannot comprehend why... stupidity, ignorance, whatever. Descretion is descretion on a sacred ground.
