yup i just read it on perez hilton.com that they are indeed making a Cloverfield 2 but they weren't sure when it will be released, i'm so excited i've been hoping they would make a sequel to this movie its one of my favorites, i just hope they use the original cast make it like 2 years later and we find out they all survived i mean the only death we actually saw was marlena so there's still hope the rest survived even Jason he could have swim back to shore! i just hope they don't blow it!

Obviously not the real trailer but nicely made, I think these guys had somewhat of a budget as well since at 2:28-2:30 you actually see (visible in HD) they had a car crashed into a fire hose that was leaking water in the air. Just because of that I think the whole thing is more planned then I thought it was when I saw it for the first time (the whole drive-thru scene etc at fast food place and stuff).
