@epicvlas offical theatrical release Summer 2012. This trailer has sections like the flood from another of this guys movies. The actual film's creatures are all generated with traditional stop-motion photography like the cyclops by Ron Cole at the end. Motion blur is added to it all and trust me it's all super smooth FX.

I can't believe someone actually complained about Sinbad being bald. Would you prefer Lou Ferrigno's permanent from Sinbad of the Seven Seas? I certainly wouldn't. At first I thought this was a faux trailer, then, as the first titles progressed I thought it was a no budget crap, and finally, after watching the whole teaser I'm convinced this could actually be good. Specially after seeing the monster at the end; it reminded me of Harrihausen. So, I'm really eager to see this!

Historically ( and I have seen them all ) he has had long hair and is somewhat babyfaced... odd for a guy who fights evil magicians, living skeletons, cyclopses etc. and since this is his 5th voyage you would think he would be younger than he was in his seventh voyage. I can't comment on what I saw just yet of course...Hope the villains are traditional...
