When you're in a recession you don't want to cut funding (do that after recovery) b/c it will do damage to the economy and threaten to send us into another recession. If you don't believe me look at what happened after we passed the Republicans deal to cut trillions...stock market crashed. You don't want to cut money in a recession.

1.) That's a lie. Obama has spent a over 4 trillion and Bush has spent a little under 5 trillion.

2.) Without the stimulus package (economists of both political orientation agree on this) the US would have continued to crash down to great depression levels. Without the bailout we would have collapsed and any economic major will agree there. As well, wars have influenced both debts therefor both Obama and Bush's debt will be higher than previous
