DSP suck ass. If they didn't have Kara they will have failed and go bankrupt with the poor management they have into handling their groups. Rainbow is an example, debuted in 2009 3 years and haven't won an award or achieved anything remarkable like the other girl groups that also debuted within the same year. They are one of the only two girl groups of 2009 along with the flop group that is JQT, that haven't won a single thing at all.

@aliees0 Winning awards doesn't decide whether a group has made it or not. Rainbow debuted in late 2009 and didn't come back until the second half of 2010. Even then it was just a digital single. A really put them on the map where Gossip Girl didn't. When they finally came back with their 2nd mini album, it fueled their popularity even more. The only reason they haven't won awards is because they promote around the same time as the big name artists. A and To Me did great on the charts.

@iantanaka winning awards may not be the most important thing in the world, but it's the case in kpop because it's that object that prove they've made it. They got popular with A then To Me but compared to groups that debuted in 2009 and some groups in 2010, Rainbow pales in comparison to them. And that reason you gave can be applied to many groups that havent won when big group names were promoting too. js this coz DSP's groups have potential but their company suck ass.
