Mmm....very nicely sung, but not my cup of tea. I am not a fan of the style (I dont know the correct terminology) where the noise of the air coming from a singers mouth is louder (or the same as) than the sound eminating from the vocal chords. Hi Jemma, I have a Sennheiser ew300 g2 which I use for gigs, there is no better make of MIke, but the model is your choice.

that's simply not true, why state things when you clearly arent a sound engineer or anything similar? Seinheisser are great, German made so very robust, normally come with a 9yr warantee, sound quality wise no better than a good Shure mic. The mic you mentioned is not ideal for recording. The best make of mic is Neumann, but that is more for full time professionals, Seinheisser is good enough for home studios on a budget.

You really get into the subtleties of this classic. A lot of singer put in a lot of vocal fireworks to show off over the slow tempo...ruins the song and often makes the singer sound horrible.

I like that you feature the true melody so much, while also showing how beautiful and fluid your voice is within a reasonable range!
