Is it possible to disable the startup screensavers, so that the player automatically goes to the date and time screen with the plain black letters on white background? Thanks (and thank you for your review, it's really helpful)
@Carlvb, yes, that's possible. Actually the fullscreen clock is just one of those screensavers. You have to disable cycling of the screensavers, then it stays on the last chosen one.
I have an MP3 player with a capacitive touchscreen (the Samsung P2), will I get annoyed using the Cowon C2? How's the sound and also in some reviews I've read they slam this device. Is there any weighting to them slamming it

dosnt look that bad to me, but then again, I have delt with some real "winners" in the hand held device market, hell this looks like a dream compared to some of the chinese players friends of mine have owned (sflo:2 for example.....)
its far from perfect, but that can be said for pretty much every device I have used, and i expect that like the d2+ I have(currently under rma for a bugged headphone jack) we will see custom skins/themes.

@siloPIRATE It's not too bad for a resistive screen, but it's far from the responsiveness one is used to from capacitive screens.
