But, a lot of great actors present their protrayals of their characters entwined with their own personality traits....so, naturally you will see 'Damon' even though it is just Ian being Ian....Also, I do not see where people get the idea that he is full of himself...he's actually very humble and kind and even a bit shy. Not at all full of himself.

Even the crew working ont he set say that all of the cast are nice, but Ian is the sweetest of them, He calls everyone 'sweetheart', 'love' and stuff like that. And in interviews I think he seems intelligent and funny. He's lovely in interviews :)
