darkfall is good idea wise but game play wise its shit its like a fail version of what oblivion would be if its mmorpg honestly this game with 99% of the rest have the same fail combat mechanics of characters being unable to react to being hit in the face with a sword or huge gorrilla fist or w/e i mean it looks retarded when a guy stands there and gets hit and doesn't react and continues swinging his axe.
@GameChangerDF Nah its just for those who have the time to play 24/7 every week in 1 year. Which actually makes you, just as you say, to the "new generation of candy asses that wants everything done for them". I doubt you have the time to actually work and go out and experience the real world if you play darkfall as it is right now...

it has been but this video is based on Darkfall 2.0, which despite name is actually an expansion but a very large one which rewrites much of the game, if you checked it Blanke you'd see they're changing that, adding new professional classes and allowing people to get to the max of a profession in the same time it would take in other mmo's and compete, whilst player's will still have no skill cap skills are only useful when used together so further skills = level other profession's, total change
Ok i get fighting ice creatures with a fire transmute, but why a 1hd sword? and the fire protections shield is probably the wrong one... just saying...
The people who defend Darkfall are the people who grinded so much they can't come to terms with the fact that AV, the game, the community is shit and nobody plays this worthless game anymore.

@BlankemeyerB Darkfall is a level based game. You have to level up every skill from Running to Fire Magic, to the 4 magic school sub skills, to each individual spell, to the overarching Magic skills to Intellience. To be competitive in that game it takes you way too much time of either macroing or fighting the most boring AI and badly coded AI. You can get max level in Wow in like 3 weeks and then start doing end-game. You can spend months grinding in DF to do nothing since nobody plays anymore.
Left click. Left click. Left click. Potion. Left click... and it goes on. Combat needs a revamp, not dungeons. Add some kind of blocking reward, if you block at some perfect time the mob staggers for a couple of seconds.
Do something since you force PvE on us in a PvP game.
@coolapead I played Darkfall back when it was awesome - at release. You could go just about anywhere and find players, but now the world is just empty.
Game just took too long to do anything from travelling to putting armor on.

It showed so much promise. The size of the world, may be a cause of concern in the first game.
