USA:s "peace keeping" seemes to be all about boms and guns. while European peace keepers actualy do social work and avoid confrontation. thats real peace keeping. vietnam war culd have ended far less blodily if america whuld have just stayed out of their buisness. those countrie have right to communist if they want.

There was quite a deal of paranoia back in day. Not to promote Communism in anyway, but the Vietnam War proved the Domino Theory was bullshit. The Vietcong- not to praise their horrid treatment of their captives at all- did not like the Chinese too much. Vietnam's Communism was more of a domestic source of influence than that of a foreign source. They didn't really seek satellite, Warsaw Pact-like ties with China
