That terrible Jubilee cover is from an actual issue of the comic. The man standing over her in the "rape victim" scenario is actually Professor X. He is able to walk for a short time due to some Starjammer technology or something, so Jubilee convinces him to go rollerblading with her. After they blade through a fountain and have an icky father/daughter bonding moment, the shit wears off and Jube helps a re-crippled Xavier back to his wheelchair. Looks like the lameness goes beyond the cover art!

lol I like your commentary on Jubilee's gameplays and comic... Its true, they gave her the lamest comic cover in the game. She's had some pretty nice ones over the years- armed to the max- yet they chose one where she took Professor X rollerblading when his legs worked for a brief moment.

Her fear ability seems to work out alright in the Astral Plane, but it seems her ability options are pretty thin. Maybe Diamond form is worthy of jacking up.

But she comes in late, and I stick with Wolvie, Storm, Iceman, and use nightcrawler and Jean Gray mostly in the 4th slot. I do try and use all the characters for at least part, or one mission.

Emma's not so bad. I hated her just as much as you before I finally played as her the last time I played XML. She's a great melee fighter equivalent to Iceman (who's one of my faves). You just have to know how to level her up. Besides, you have to use her during the early part of the Asteroid M mission anyway. (Okay, you don't HAVE to use her, but you can't switch her off the team.)
