i dropped mine by accident and the screen popped off... i snapped it back on but now the volume wheel doesnt work... only the play the rewind and the power buttons work.... does any one know how to fix this?
I loved mine but I have owned 3 and they all come to the same fate where the scroll wheel stiffens up unless you rub soapy water or something on the wheel which makes it act normal for a while but it stiffens back up again. My most recent ones controls freaked out and it thought I was pressing all sorts of buttons when I wasn't. All in all they are decent but I haven't had one last more than 5 months and I am careful with my things. I own a sansa clip+ now
@shirrasta No dude, but I'm afraid there are hardly any accessories I know about, I owned one for a few years and couldn't find any accessories that are for it. I say it would be better just to get a sony Walkman MP3 player (NWZ or touch series), They have a lot of in store accessories. Unlike Sandisk had to order them all offline and it was a pain to order from the company because most of the time I got an empty box or an accessory that wasn't made for fuze.
nice glasses oops i mean jugs ...where the hell are! you in some indian resturant!!!

does anyone actually say what the signal to noise ratio is on these things
i mean with the dumbest new eu law coming in!!!!!
some of these new mp3 players coming into europe.. you can hear people whispering in the next room when you got the thing on fullblast with earbuds stuffed right in your lugholes..try before you buy take your earbuds in and demand a test
@HeyRyder yes, this did help. But I have one more question. I've been checking out the sansa fuze, and people say the video quality is really shit, I would preferably like a mp3 with a long lasting battery life (which fuze has) and a decent video quality. Which ppl are saying it doesn't. I'm not sure the Creative Labs mp3 is in Canada tho and people are saying the Archos 3 isn't that great. So could you run over for me again and which you prefer?
Could someone please help me. Just bought the sansa fuze 4 GB but it's awfully quiet. The salesperson said that there is an option in the settings to make it louder but neither I nor she could find it. The site's not helpful either, so anything you could tell me would be of great assistance.
the only real downside is the exterior which easily gets damaged and the bloody small runtime of barely 14 hours. Seriuosly, I don´t give a fuck about it being 3 mm bigger in return for a decent akku size. And whats wrong with a metal exterior? The way it is you have to buy a damn case for it which makes it bigger (and uglier) anyways and it will get scratches pretty quick.
i mainly got this because of the sd slot, witch is probly the main reason why someone would buy this, other than the price. i got a 8 gig sd card in mine so you cant go wrong with 12 gigs in this price range. another nice feture i like on it is the custon sound EQ settings, nice little mp3 player. id recomend it.
@GDZIEJESTSTACHU Go with the Fuze. I own both- the wheel on the e250 can stick and isn't fluid. Both are good players but the Fuze also has a bigger screen and is thinner.
I have a question, does it need any propriety software to download music, for example (i tunes for ipods), and if so can you like hook the usb up to it and put it in your ps3 or xbox 360 so you can copy songs to the fuze? pleaze reply thnx
@immortality711ps3 uh you cant move files from a 360 to an mp3 player but im pretty sure itll work with a ps3. if u wanna use a pc, you can use media GO which is made for psps but works really well on the sansa fuze:)
really easy to use, lots of space, a lot cheaper than the iPod, no annoying program needed(like iTunes) except for the sansa media converter if you want videos, and it's so pretty!! Love it love it love it!!!! :D
Do not buy Sansa brands especially ones that say you can download videos.
The catch is that you have to find out how to get videos. The stupid thing is you need to find a good converter to get the video or whichever. Most of the videos you would use wont work so thats very annoying when you are searching for videos for hours. ( like i did)
The stupid thing that happened to me is that while i was listening to my music all of a sudden all my music started to dissapear. This really made me mad.
i just went and bought one today, if you ask me it was really worth my money. its like an ipod, really. i got the 8gb version, but if i need even more memory i also have an sd so i can add more memory whenever. i upgraded from the sansa clip to this, and trust me, this is like 100x better!
Does any one know if you can buy like a cheap 1 gb one, and then buy a 4 gb sd card and plug it in then have a 5 gb one? I'm not sure if this common sense or what...
yes you can add memory. there is no 1 gig version, however. just a 2, 4, and 8 gig. you can add a microSDHC card up to 16 gigs. you can get an 8 gig card online for around $18 or a 4 gig for around $10.
the screen on it breaks too easily i had him 4 about 6 months never dropped it always keept it in my pocket with no other items with it and today i turned it on and the screen was broken 4
I need some help with mine my sansa keeps skipping all my songs i have on it and some times it just pauses it for reason so now i can only listen to 3 or four songs out of like 45 PLEASE HELP!!!
Does anyone use V-moda vibe 'phones with there's? I do and the thing sound absolutely mind-blowing. Music I've been listening to forever comes to life with all these new sounds that I had never heard before. V-moda isn't the best available, but for the price I payed on ebay, I can't imagine it getting much better for $22. For the type of music I listen too, I just set my fuze on the Jazz setting, stick my vibes in my head and get taken away by this flood of crystal clear sound, it's breathtaking
can som1 help me? i have the sansa fuze i had it for like 3 months....well the it just shut off auto maticly and wont turn bac on and it wasnt automatic shut off..CAN SOM! PLZ HELP ME!!!!
try holding the on/off switch in the on/up position for 10-20 seconds. I've had to do this twice before and it fixed it without erasing anything. I think this is a reset function built in.
I've had this player for over a year and unlike the ipod that my father had it didn't break in a few months. Obviously i still have it. I also don't have to fight the player to get the music i bought back on it With any new music if i get a new computer.

lol they're just presenting an equivalent of the ipod, with a lower price and more individuality. The ipod is an overpriced version of this, not this being a cheap copy of the ipod.
Are you positive? Because the lady from CNET reviewing the thing said I could put in up to a 12gb card. which seems to be nearly impossible to find. Sandisk is supposed to be coming out with a 12 gig. But not yet. Just checking to see if anyone has inserted a 16gb card with any success, really. But thanks for any input you may be able to provide
majority of my mp3 players was from sansa company the only problem i really had with this product was when it froze several times and to those who get this product please be aware of how much song you put on there because it tends to freeze frequently
yes I had this problem with a faulty song i downloaded off the internet. the player would crash but when I turned it off and put it on again and it was fine!
Damn. I'm from US. That makes me look bad, haha. Here's my badge of scientific knowledge: Cowon A3 and Nokia E61i. And this sansa in the near future for sure.
You can also just drag and drop music files. Go to My Computer and at the bottom there should be an icon with your MP3 player on it. It's in the "other" category. Just drag music files into the music section.
i have a sansa e280 and yea be ready for it to get scratched up easily my screen cracked the second week i had it then a few months later it broke but if u know what ur doing they are easy to fix
i have one. great deal really, but expect it to get scratched up. i had mine for a week and it was covered in scratches, so much that it distorted the screen. i then finally got my case in the mail, but it seems the case wore off the shine and luster on the black paint, so now its a rough, dull grey color around the edges. but still, you get your moneys worth, and this was even a good deal. got my 2 gb for 80 dollars
dude, no way thats the case. i mean if you knew me personally, youd know how careful i am with electronics. like seriously dude, i dont even let people touch my electronics! i never even keep anything in the same pocket as my electronics, and i never once dropped my fuze. it was definetly not my fault, considering that my 2 year old psp, which i have almost everyday, only has one scratch on it (which was from my dad dropping it)
i have it but i wanted to see if i missed anything

I bought this player couple weeks ago and I got to mentioned that there are some downside with this player.
1). DRM (itune) songs have to be converted to mp3 and also if I remember correctly mp4 needs conversion as well.
2). You cant replace the battery, its soldered into the circuit board. So if the battery is fucked then your screwed
3). Headphone jack is located at the bottom not on top
USB06 3 years ago
Most players in the market do not have removable batteries. The Fuze is no different than Ipods, Zunes, Zens, etc.

majority of my mp3 players was from sansa company the only problem i really had with this product was when it froze several times and to those who get this product please be aware of how much song you put on there because it tends to freeze frequently
happygurl1991 3 years ago
yes I had this problem with a faulty song i downloaded off the internet. the player would crash but when I turned it off and put it on again and it was fine!

And you're from the US. I'm not surprised you couldn't figure it out.
I got a Fuze last weekend and was able to get a video on it within 30 minutes of hooking it up.
Perhaps by American standards I /am/ a rocket scientist(?). Sweet! ;-)

Damn. I'm from US. That makes me look bad, haha. Here's my badge of scientific knowledge: Cowon A3 and Nokia E61i. And this sansa in the near future for sure.

I am from the U.S and I put a video on it right after getting it and it was easy >.> Picking on Americans...Not all of us are idiots.

Neo5242 3 years ago
i have one. great deal really, but expect it to get scratched up. i had mine for a week and it was covered in scratches, so much that it distorted the screen. i then finally got my case in the mail, but it seems the case wore off the shine and luster on the black paint, so now its a rough, dull grey color around the edges. but still, you get your moneys worth, and this was even a good deal. got my 2 gb for 80 dollars
Mihogan 3 years ago
No offense, but it got scratched because you didn't take care of it, it's not the Fuze's fault.
BaSkEtCaSe276 3 years ago 3
dude, no way thats the case. i mean if you knew me personally, youd know how careful i am with electronics. like seriously dude, i dont even let people touch my electronics! i never even keep anything in the same pocket as my electronics, and i never once dropped my fuze. it was definetly not my fault, considering that my 2 year old psp, which i have almost everyday, only has one scratch on it (which was from my dad dropping it)
