  • Viva la Revolucion!!

  • problem isn't capitalism, its people, funny enough a lot of the wealth of nations is devoted about improving the lives of the worker (albeit capitalism is still VERY flawed, with the downfalls of man being just one of its issues)

  • I love this song, i live in a social republic Vietnam, and we have this song is translated to Vietnamese too, (just like any socialist country else) but i like this song end of Capitalism : A love story most !

  • What a great and unique version of this truelly inspiring song, if only we could unite the whole human race

  • International Capital is the Eschaton, for better or for worse. It will slay all social modes of antiquity, much like Marxism sought to achieve.

  • Never has bloody revolution been so classy!

  • Ege plaĉas al mi tiu ĉi versio de L'Internationale!

  • This man can sing! I hear Bennett and Sinatra in his voice with a dash of Darin.

  • if we don't put a period to capitalism, capitalism will put a period to the human race.

    so comrades unite!

  • we take wage cuts and tax rises as our local services are shut in the name of balancing the budgets yet they get richer after years of screwing the poor it is now the middle class that are being squeezed it can not last there is going to be a reckoning

  • smrt fašizmu!

  • @roky1337 sloboda narodu!!!

  • @lukakiwi Freedom to the People! Halqa azadliq! Svobodu narodu!

  • I really like this version of L'internationale

    :D

  • @CaptainAmerica5013 Capitalism is wrong and dumb...but this is good.

    Fixed.

  • "The soldiers too will take strike action, they'll break ranks and fight no more"

Can't wait till that happens on the DMZ.

  • Simply "Good"

    Thanks ; )

  • Michael Moore used this hilarious version of the old Communist anthem at the end of "Capitalism: a Love Story."

  • Wisconsin is the first front in the new socialist revolution. It's moving to Ohio, to Michigan to Florida, to Maine, to Indiana, to California to Minnesota, to Massachusetts and everywhere else in the United States. We need to become socialist for the good of mankind at large.

  • @redsoxfan1984 In order to become socialist we need to do away with human nature. That isn't impossible though, in fact we're tantalizingly close to attaining the means to do so.

  • @baronofcheese bullshit. Bourbons or Habsburgs said that abolishment of feudal rights is against human nature. They actually meant - in order to become capitalist we need to do away with human nature which is impossible so servant status of 90% percent of people was "natural". How can you decide that capitalism "matches" the human nature more than socialism?

  • @LodovicoAriosto1 It's not as impossible as you'd think actually. The Bourbons and Hapsburgs would have said anything to stay in power, but capitalism flourished despite their assertions. The same can't really be said for socialism. The main problem is that the very concept of greed or power is anathema to socialism, but both can theoretically be rendered irrelevant.

  • @baronofcheese capitalism needed a long time to become strong enough to overthrow the aristocrats. maybe it just wasn't socialism time yet. One thing is for sure: sayings like "socialism cannot work because it is in contradiction with human nature. Only capitalism is realistic because it is in correspondence with the greedy human nature" is nothing more than burgeois propaganda. The greatness of revolution is that it achieves something unthinkable by contemporary standards.

  • @aleegeri You're disregarding the last part of the last sentence in my last comment. Socialism would require an altogether higher level of empathy and consciousness than humans currently have, HOWEVER, there are many ways of reaching it that aren't as far-fetched as they sound.

  • @aleegeri One example would be using BCIs (Brain-Computer Interfaces) as a method of communicating complete thoughts and emotions. It's easy enough to inflict adversity in order to profit, but how easy would that be if it felt as though you were on the receiving end of it all?

  • @redsoxfan1984 That's a nice statement for WI, but to be truthful, I live in Wisconsin and the fact that this is a god damn racist motherfucking redneck shit state hasn't changed

    :D

  • When the Red Revolution comes bop-bop-bopping along. Swing, red diaper baby!

  • I really wish socialists had some respectable historical figures to look up to. all the previous communists leaders we're big on murder, even che and trotsky committed atrocities. we have a really shitty track record.

  • @typicalviewer2 Socialism != Communism.

    Bakunin. FDR. Jesus.

We have enough heroes, and plenty of martyrs.

  • @QuietReckoning lol, jesus. "sell all you own and give the money to the poor" and they kiled him.

  • @typicalviewer2

Rosa Luxemburg? William Morris? (artist, more of an anarchist, but some good ideas)

And anyway, what need do we have for historical figures? In every generation there are workers whose struggles we can draw from. I bring my strength from the respectable people in this movement I see, meet, talk to every day: my parents, my friends and comrades. And just as we can bring our strength from those around us, younger hands will take our work and carry on. We don't need a figurehead.

  • @EmmaRunswick because right now people view our figureheads as Stalin, Lenin, Che, and Castro. not a very cudly loveable bunch.

  • @typicalviewer2

Well we just tell those that see our figureheads as Stalin etc that we do not look up to them, that their actions were wrong, we do not have figureheads, we have comradery.

  • The great only seem great, when everyone else is on their knees... As you see comrades, ordinary people and workers, you are stronger than you think. The proportion of 209 workers vs 1 capitalist seems very favorable to class struggle...

Workers of the world unite !

  • The 1 dislike is ether Glenn Beck or a Rich Capitalist.

  • @Bab5crusade See, We're still the 99%.

About four hundred likes to four dislikes? Sounds like a nice, easy revolution.

  • About time the workers and socialist people of the world rise against capitalism once more! For our mutual future!

  • @lozemyfire

Yea future without basic rights and where people have no sense of individualism.

  • @Virgil077 How is that different from now?

  • @QuietReckoning

Well seeing as you live in the USA I don't know why your asking that. Last I checked the government hasn't rounded up and executed communist sympathizers, they havent removed this video along with others that criticize American capitalism and advocate socialism and were still allowed to choose the way we think and speak against the government.

  • @Virgil077

None of what you just said has anything to do with socialism. Norway, France, Germany, Britain, Iceland, and all of Scandanavia are socialist.

When was the last time they rounded people up?

Was it when the nation was run by Fascists?

"Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." - Benito Mussolini

    Read a book.

  • No way Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, please look things up!!), Germany, Britain and Iceland are socialist!!

    You are quite misinformed...

  • @TheVoodoovampires

    Compared to the US?

The policies of those nations are defined by conservative American policies as socialist. They have universal healthcare. Universal healthcare is 'socialist.' So is free or reduced-price (less than $20,000 per year) college education.

Americans would look at what those nations do and call it socialism. So my question: Are you using the European or American definition of socialism?

  • @QuietReckoning Sorry mate but if you think any of those countries are Socialist then you need to look up the word. Just because right wing nutters in the US call them that doesn't make them so. Scandinavia operates Social Democracy not socialism, and the UK and Germany have been increasingly neo liberal market economies since the 1970's and before that practice Keynesian economics a form of state capitalism, which is where we get healthcare and education subsidy.

  • @QuietReckoning "Are you using the European or American definition of socialism" Sorry but were on earth did Americans get the idea that they could just change the meanings of words on a whim? there is no European/American definition of Socialism, there is only the correct definition of Socialism. A movement that wishes to resolve class conflict for the workers, abandonment of profit based production, and public ownership of all major assets and infrastructure along egalitarian lines.

  • @CommissarRed Really? If people don't have different definitions, then why are there religious wars? If there was only one definition for "God" then I'm pretty sure that the crusades would not have happened.

You're right that there can only be one right answer, but when people talk about socialism in America, they don't mean what you just described. Words have different meanings based on their context. For instance, "I'm going to go out back and blow a fag" means something different in US/UK.

  • @QuietReckoning Were not talking about religion here, where talking about political theory. Context is irrelevant if it means you fundamentally alter the meaning of the word. So again it doesn't matter one jot what the Americans mean when they use the S word, if it doesn't correlate to the correct definition like say calling UK and Germany and Scandinavia Socialist, it is wrong.

  • @CommissarRed Ah. See, here's the difference. Thanks to the republican party, the process of American Politics is about altering the meaning of words. 1984 doublethink is a Republican policy. They define everything I just mentioned as socialist. I'm using their definition.

You're right, if words have meaning, context is irrelevant. But American Conservatives are still fighting Stalin's ghost. They think it's still the cold war.

I'm sorry that you disagree with the Republicans. I often do..

  • @QuietReckoning That is, I often disagree with Republicans.

    They're assholes.

1984 wasn't supposed to be an instruction manual.

  • @QuietReckoning Sorry how is that an excuse? if thats the case then doesn't that make it more imperative to use the correct meanings rather then less and let them get way with distorting reality? You don't stop the forces of reaction by agreeing with what they say.

  • @CommissarRed Do you really think that the people who voted for GW Bush twice are going to listen to reason?

No. Everyone knows they're wrong, and when I talked about socialism, I was expecting to get American reaction to it with the way US Conservatives have been haunting political websites lately.

Yes, you're right. But you try arguing with an American Conservative some time.

You won't win. Faux News spins its bile 24/7 and these people will tell you you're lying when you quote facts.

  • @CommissarRed I like your discussion, just have to say that I do consider Germany to be a social democracy as well, the liberals just lost bigtime and surely you wouldn't call the Green party neo-liberals???;-) And the UK has free health care for everybody, and that is more than Germany and France have (yes, you get it there, but you must join the burocratic jungle first). But all it is is just bread and games, bread and games...

  • @HermioneNo1 "call the Green party neo-liberals" That depends on the individual Greens, In Ireland they propped up Fianna Fail's neo Liberal projects even to the extent that the environment suffered. Maybe in Germany its different I don't know I focus more on what SDP and Die Linke are doing. Also in regards to the NHS I am currently part of the campaign to prevent its impending privatisation, the Welfare state has been eroded repeatedly in recent years which is why I dispute the label.

  • Please tell me if I'm wrong, with Capitalism, we have rich people and extremely poor people, somewhere along the line, we have to bring these borders closer, I know there are probably a lot of rich people out there masturbating in to their cash, it's one freakish game!!!

  • See?

Protest songs don't have be acoustic guitars and whiny voices. If they sounded like this, maybe more people would listen.

  • There are no russians, no americans, no jews, no arabs! There are only workers and capitalists! World Socialistic Union !

  • Capitolism has created the greatest society in history. The Government cant create jobs they can only destroy wealth. nothing could be more contrary to the interests of working

Americans than the erosion of living

standards, rule of law and sovereignty that

    is mass-immigration's baneful bequest.

Unfortunately, such a view isn't likely to be

voiced at any AFL-CIO, S.E.I.U, or Change to Win

    convention in the near future.

  • @farahnet1, not it didn't.

    that is a lie!

Capitalism would be NOTHING without the average worker!

  • @farahnet

That's why it keeps failing :)

Go get educated or snap out of it.

  • @farahnet1 Where did this myth that government can't create jobs come from. I mean seriously that has got to be one of the most ignorant things coming from the capitalist camp. Look around you, the government has created many many jobs.

  • SWINGS!

  • Banks stole $700 billion from the American people and now the few factories where workers stood up and refused to be laid off so that financial mistakes of the factory management would be annulled are all over the news as victorious. That is bread-crumbs people! Instead of stopping and celebrating this insignificant Pyrrhic victories heads of Goldman Sachs should be falling at the Union Square. Banks STOLE your hard-earned money people, and $700 billion at that. Only sheep would not rally!

  • Swanky!
