I'm sure the LHC won't be a 'waste of time & money', even though a lot of big egos await results!
From MBH to Strangletes, I'm sure Higgs will be forthcoming and 'Dark Energy' will reveal itself to be more interesting than thought. But, if the 'standard model' is proved incorrect, who's head will be getting some spectra of pain?
