  • Excellent video! Would you or anyone know by chance how to remove that little lightbulb that appears in the middle of the picture? I'd really not want to make the image clickable and openable in a seperate tab like it always does.

  • Great. I did it. :)

  • Awesome Yaar. You are so good. It is wonderful. I have never seen such a great teacher in my entire life who teaches so much step by step and clearly. Thanks Alot Mam!

  • thanks for posting this tutorial, its great!

  • Great tutorial it works well : ] Im using the weaver 2010 theme and i have a page template of 2 columns i cant get it to align flush with the left side of my page.. Any ideas? Thanks again

  • Two thumb way up, Bonnie! That was a very smooth (pardon the pun) and professional presentation. Thanks for taking the time to break it all down and provide so much detail.

  • Bonnie, very good stuff. I didn't know about the widget logic or advanced widget text plugins. Very good stuff. Thanks for posting!

  • Looks very nice

  • Excellent tutorial, but it seems to be missing one key piece of info: How does one add a 'Utility: Before Content' widget to one's theme?

  • @Gluelesss Sorry, not all themes have that exact area. You need to locate the area in your theme that is above your general content area.

  • You are my hero. I've been struggling and now I have a slideshow. Thank you!

  • nice one :)

  • I have a little doubt.. does that widget logic that you introduced lastly, put the gallery on the main page or the sidebar? as i also have a sidebar unlike the website in the video.

  • @sssdornier Sorry added in widget logic at the end without an explanation of the plugin. The widget is used to define the pages or posts that you want the widget to appear on.

Understand that WordPress does not use the word "sidebar", instead it is primary and secondary widgets. Using widget logic you can control which pages or posts that particular widget is displayed.

  • @sssdornier I wrote about my transition from static HTML to WordPress. You may find it interesting since I discuss widgets and plugins. Youtube does not like the URL. It is My Transition to WordPress on my website in Sketchbook

  • @sssdornier Widget logic determines which page or post. to put it on the sidebar requires putting it in one of your widgets in your theme.

  • Hey its outstanding...keep it up...one of the best tutorials i've ever seen....keep doing..all the best.

  • @sssdornier Thanks this was my first tutorial.
