  • ohhh my.. it was so revealing.. i don't have this camera but all they said i have known before..

  • Can you record on it?

  • Why does my menu look different from yours?

  • those two remind me of the commentators on dodgeball! :)

  • I think they stole the characters from seeing us :)

  • why is there two people?

  • I don't know, We could have done it with one.

  • how would you take a chiascuro pictures with a d60's

  • Can you do a 30min tutorial on a Canon T1i / 500D? We have seen your videos and it did helped. But we want some more. Your is more detailed compared to other tutorials

    We like your videos.

  • the angle setting is kind of un-ergonomic it's right behind the rubber cup on the eyepiece you have to have long fingernails to drag the thing down.. :P

  • This has helped me so much. I never even knew about most of the settings. I can't wait to get off work anbd play around with my camera some more.

I wil probably get the DVD's too. I am suppose to take a class in January at the local city college. We shall see. I think any and all classes wil help out!

  • i love how you guys call it nii kon. while we call it nee-kon.

  • yeah, nee-kon or nick-on sounds good.

  • @Smil3Lik3UMeanIt I found out it was pronouced that way and was like, NO. I WILL FOREVER PRONOUCE IS NY-KON. :D

  • @randomdice17 Ny Kon has a slight ring to it, though :P

  • @Smil3Lik3UMeanIt exactly! which is why i pronounce it ny-kon :D (not nee-kon)

  • I just have to say this, these two guys look like or remind me of the two top answerers in the photography section of yahoo answers.

  • I got some value from that. cheers

  • lol 8:02 ADD!!!

  • Thanks for the tips Indiana Jones ;-) lol jkjk

  • Thanks for the tips John and you're not rude in your video. It's very good conversational banter. You both flow well.

  • the guy in the hat is rude, he needs to stop interrupting.

  • That is me, and you are right, I have to improve, I wanted to move the video along for the youtube short span audience, I have improved is you watch some of our later videos. Always trying to get better.- John

  • Well, at least you have an open mind to a little criticism ;-) thanks!

  • lol he does interupt a lot. just noticed.

  • Thanks for the tips :)

  • i tried creating a stop motion movie in my d60..im wondering how i cud replay/watch it lol i just got so i don't know how to use all the functions yet.if anyone nice enough to give me an idea how to wud be greatly appreciated.thx

  • I bought this camera and i'm not really professional user. there is so much variations to pick from :D very nice

  • No live preview ... : (

  • wantmohr that what im looking forward to also...d40 is great bu i donnu what to get d60 or d40...i need help!!!

  • i not the maker of this video but what you want is the D60. It has alot more features that the higher end Nikon cameras have which the D40 or the D40X will not have. I had the same problems a while ago.

  • Agreed, get the D60 because the D40 is not being produced anymore, it is the D60 that is Replacing the D40, just got my D60 today and its amazing just to look at it

  • imm really new to dslr photography and i was looking into either the d40 or the d60 i wana be able to take really nice photos but i dont know weather to pay extra for the d60 or just stick with the d40. any tips?

  • If u r just starting, D40 is also perfect, D60 gives u extra Megapixels and a couple of other stuff whcih u probably wont be using anytime soon, where D40 is only 6 MP D60 is 10. I suggest u give it a start with D40... U'll be fine with saving that extra bit of money.. :)

  • no, it is not the same camera the d60 has 10.2 megapixels while the d40 only has 6.1 megapixels, the d60 has a continuous shooting mode while the d40 dosent, the d60 has a dust reduction system while the d40 dosent, the d60 has 0.19 second power up response while the d40 only has 0.18, i tried 2 find every difference between both cameras to show everyone what an idiot you are the d60 is a superior over the d40 take your camera and shove it up ur ass poomp006 you are an idiot

  • why would they sell 2 of the same dslrs for the different prices......do ur research man thats pathetic

  • to make money dumb shit

why the fuck do you think you do the reasearch

the differances arnt worth the prices

  • I really like this. i have learned some good stuff too, but most of all I think this pair would make an excellent Creature Comforts movie for Nick Parkes. I think the oneon the right coulb be a kola bear and the one the left a meerkat . I'll definatley thinkingof getting teh full dvd

  • Great review and tips, but I have to say it.

The guy in the glasses sounds too annoying and interrupts a lot.

  • they both wear glasses, but i agree... the guy with the hat is really a pain...

  • i did as you said, regarding the function button for the iso.

but it says, "this option is not available with current settings"

  • Most likely you are automatic mode, try manual mode or s or a or p mode and let me know if that works for you

  • yea i think that was the problem, cuz it just went away when i was fiddling around. thanks!

  • Does this camera have live view?

  • parkour4thelife do u mean at 1:31, the circular thing?? if u did, it is iris of the lense and it tells you how much light is being let into the camers, when you turn the thumb wheel, it changes that setting.

  • aperature

  • Will the lcd display screen waste battery?

    Can you turn it off?

Or does it turn off agter a while?

    Please help!

    (Aiden)

    xXx

  • 1:18 eye sensor???? mmm im very disappointed with that. i have to switch off that function becos LCD flickers like hell under sunlight (outdoors). so its a problem with this camera. Its a a wide spread issue becos i googled it and reserched about it. rewierers never mention this becos they review sitting inside their studio.

  • you can turn the eye sensor off. go to menu-setup menu-shooting info auto off- then switch to off

  • That is what the lens is doing inside the camera

  • i dont understan what thar round thing in the middle is, is that exposure or ?

  • hello, I suggest you make the videos available online , so international user can enjoy your products online without wasting money on shipping charges.. I am from Jpn and would like to purchase your DVD but the shipping price must be expensive.

  • can i connect my d-60 to my psp to view photos? can i do that?

  • if it has a usb port.

  • i dont think you can do that directly from the camera..

  • Which focus mode would you use for actions shots - 'dogs at a park'

  • Should my Nikon D60 make any sounds when the sensor cleaning is taking place? My Canon XTi did, but my D60 doesn't...

  • even though the camera has a 3 point auto focus would it still be a good camera to shoot cars in motion or other action shots?

  • it has a sports photography mode that only uses the center focus point and fast shutter speed. works great for action photography!

  • I was out today shooting some indoor sports and all of my images came out fuzzy. I am using the 18-55 lens, and have the dial set to the "running man" what am I doing wrong? Please help me! Love your videos!

  • ha my last name is cooksey too

  • what a small world, we may be related, Where is your family from, Florida or Illinois?

  • I am quite familiar with 35mm SLRs (I have the Minolta) and am thinking of purchasing a DSLR. I've basically mastered taking photos using the f stops and shutter speeds. Would the d60 be a better product for me, or should I go for the d80. I don't know the difference.

  • I would get the d60 as its newer technology at a lower price. You can go to some photo review websites and print out the specs to compare the two. I think the D60 is a good camera at a good price and the money you save you can use to uprgrade your lens

  • I finally stepped up or should I say "gave in" to a digital SLR and splurged on my birthday. I am thrilled that I did. I really am enjoying the D60.

I had resisted going from film SLR to digital but it was worth the switch. I still use and have my film SLRs (all 3 of them) and will keep them around till film becomes extinct! BUT I LOVE MY D60.

  • bought the D60 about a week and a half ago and i didnt know how to use half the features of the camera. i just got my 2 dvd instruction video and in the first 10 min. learned a quite a few things already. thanks for the great vids!!

  • Thanks for the nice complement, If there is any quesitons you have after you watch both videos, feel free to let us know. Enjoy

  • Just bought the D60 today with the 18-55 and 55-200 lenses.. LOVE IT!

  • D60--cool! im pretty much enjoying my game of photography with my nikon. cheers and happy shooting.Ü

  • omg now i want one!

  • Hi! If I were you, I'd save my money and buy the D40 - it's essentially the same camera with just some lesser MP (but 6 megapixel is more than enough, in fact more megapixel gives noisier images) and then get the money you've saved and use them on either the SB 400 flash and/or the 55-200mm VR.

  • I'm going to buy it! Is the price for the camera okay, what do u think?

  • Just bought the D60 and LOVE it!
