just thot you should know Lady, that my GF has extenions and YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO GET THE TRACK WET, it loosens the glue and thread holding the hair to the track, therefor making the hair slowly fall out...thats probably why the extensions your using look like SHIT, just saying

I used to wash my hair weekly and condition them like my normal hair, as you suggested, but after my extension got older they started to tangle like crazy! I was then told that you should NOT wash them weekly, and should condition them with a hair cholesterol product (hair mayonnaise) and wrap them in plastic wrap with the condition on for a few hours, then rinse and let air dry. Now that I follow this regiment my extensions are extremely healthy and not dry.

I take a WIDE elastic band and wrap each end around the hot and cold taps then I clip the extensions onto the elastic band, that way I can use both hands to wash/rinse, in tepid water. I then place them on a towel and blot dry making sure to check that they remain semi straight on the towel. And voila, they aren't curly nor straight, but rather look natural.

I think you'd know when to wash them. Its like normal hair, only you don't need to wash it every day. But when they get dirty, thats probably a sign to do it. Or when they start to lose the natural shine.

Did you color your own extensions? I saw on your how to video that you had colored your extensions the same as your hair. I bought some today from sally's and they need to tone down a bit. If so, what color and brand did you use? U have the same color as me. :-)

I used Dream Blond from Loreal. The color is medium blond. The bad thing is I think they discontinued that color. I bought a few boxes on clearance. You may check your local drug stores to see if they still have it.
