That's not hacking it's just using your own Admin rights to change the Admin password. Every Admin can change the passwords of other users. You can also do this in User Controlcenter or Computer Management Window

There is something strange with the procedure you have documented. I had no errors but it doesn't allow me to use the new password. There are other ways to get into the command prompt with some OS's you can reboot into safe mode with command prompt. Otherwise with XP you get a login screen where the above instructions are useless.

@gwen2441 You can use batches, make an access point to the command prompt, or use the login hack to get system access. I would be careful though, I got into a lot of trouble when I hacked a network.

guys if admin blocked cmd, then open notepad, type command.com, then exit, and it will ask you to save.......save it to the desktop. make sure you save the name as .bat dont forget the period :) and switch the "save as type" from ".txt" to "all files" and save! now your done! go to your dektop and open! you basically have power to do anything now XD

please note the way in the video only woks in admin mode. try typing. cd\ cd\windows\system32 mkdir temphack copy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr copy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe del logon.scr rename cmd.exe logon.scr exit Now what you have just done is told the computer to backup the command program and the screen saver file, then edits the settings so when the machine boots the screen saver you will get an unprotected dos prompt with out logging into XP.
