the mp4 render option looks very bad on my system. maybee im missing some codecs or something?

When I start rendering, only my generated text media shows up the rest of the video is black, does anyone know why?, When I play it on the Editor I can see video images but when rendering or after rendering I can't, it's just a black screen

Hey just question ..

I only have the trial version of sony vegas, after i change the file format to the MainConceptAVC/AAC.mp4, the custom tab isnt highlighted, therefore im unable to click on it. Is there another way to compress a file, but still have a best quality? Its for my assginment.

yes you are right ! my video with render as .. put it on the avi format tooked me 1 gb but on WMV is now up to 45 mb :| compare pls ... and the quality is the same ! HIGH
