  • it your choice dude :) i´ve cheap snare drum too a for me sounds good...

  • i like it!

  • put a condenser mic in the room and actually hit the snare and I'll tell you

  • i hate it

  • yes its okay can u even play drums though

  • wow, sounds so strange ;O

  • Actually it does

  • it depends, it it for drumset?

  • i would fuck that snare if i had the chance!

  • No

  • it sounds techno

  • SWEDISH GRAVITY BLAST FAIL!

  • Lol. No. Too tight.

  • well theres a new video I got of the.new setup, no,playing because of the quality though..

  • you need to practice you 1 handed roll...

  • I think i just threw up out of my ass.

  • @WalnutSlay3r lmao

  • it sounds like crap

  • @drummer9889 Tighten The Bottom Head Then The Top And You Should Get A Nice Pop Sound

  • It doesn't sound bad at all. A little tight, but that's o.k. Your snare can sound however you want!

  • i see all these dudes drumsets on youtube, and look back at mine.... WTF!!?!?!! man

  • i think its sounds old skool, if you have ever heard of lenny white and return to forever, then you will know what im talkning about, it has a dry crack to it , nothing wrong with that tone mate, thumbs up.i would also put a small disch cloth folded on edge, tuned lower for that old vintage recording sound too .

  • i think its sounds old skool, if you have ever heard of lenny white and return to forever, then you will know what im talkning about, it has a dry crack to it , nothing wrong with that tone mate, thumbs up.

  • sounds like you might have broken the hoop when you tuned it or mabey it was just tuned wrong

  • im likin it

  • This is shitty for studio recording, of course. But I've gotta say: when playing in places where you don't want to be very loud, this snare can be a great deal.

  • sounds ok to me

  • Best snare drum ever

  • Sounds great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • get black max snares from marching people it will sound good then

  • personally, this sounds horrible...

    but whatever fits your style

  • I get it, it sucks lol I don't have that cheap snare no more, I have better stuff and better sense now guys, jeez made me lower my self esteem :/

  • @Rockinnsk8inallday then dont put a vid up of a shitty snare

  • i like it unique sound

  • You got that thing cranked way to high, loosen the head and find the sweet spot.

  • It sounds really tight, i'd say loosen it a bit and you'll probably get a nicer sound :P but if YOU like this then dont change it.

  • it sounds overly tightened but not too bad

  • How do you ge it so dry? Like, I tried what you said about really tight but there is still ring in it. Might be my snare.

  • @flabaman44 Try using an Evan's Genera Dry top head and a Remo Hazy Diplomat bottom head if your looking to have no ring out of your snare, also if you have a metal snare it's going to be a little harder to eliminate that, but keep in mind that "ring" act's like reverb for drums, it is always good to have a little so the drum can blend between fills smoothly.

  • @flabaman44 Try putting some tape on the batter head / reso head. Every snare drum will ring, without muffling. Can't say how the hell he did this, it sounds bullocks.

  • @bertram7074 I have Moongels on the batter, but still buzz and ring and it picks up a lot of ring from the toms

  • sounds a little too dry for me

  • im sorry, but it does not sound like a snare drum.

  • press 0 repeatedly

  • wtf.

  • you JOKING, right????

  • SOUNDS DEAD

  • It low key does

  • Not nice to us,does it feel right when playing to music?Does it flow with the right song? You know crap like that..

  • it's a tight sound, mine sounds slightly similar but has a deeper sound, and it sounds amazing, some people don't like it, but i think it sounds good, matter of opinion i guess

  • how old is that head?

  • Sounds like a solid snare drum. We're gonna need some triggers to tell for sure over the internet though xD

  • no

  • no

  • it will sound better if you will tighten up the snares more, the snares are very dead.

  • I like the sound for a side snare...but not as a main snare.

  • @rm2racer yes man!!!! I agree to your opinion.

  • love it

  • Sounds a bit choked, like the snare side is too tight.

  • snare sound: *Cho-ooo!* *Cho-ooo!*

  • ehh I don't really like it... I dont think you should be aiming to tune it to a note of any sort, you should just tune it so that it is at least in tune (lug-wise) and then tighten it til you personally like the sound... don't worry about tuning it to A's and B's and what not lol

  • Sounds great!

  • sounds like asshole

  • sounds like a marching snare

  • eh i dont like it, it sounds rubbery

  • I love this snare because its maybe good for punk or metal with a aquarian high energy snare head

  • your hands are shaking... ;P

  • a bit too dry.

try replacing the snares on the bottom of the drum. then it'll sound steezy

  • It too warm.. not soo good

  • good for blast beats

  • the snare should buzz abit....not too much ...abit !

  • Surprisingly.....yes

  • yes!!!!!!!!!!

  • sounds just like a snare sound i used to use on my roland td-8

  • to tight

  • i bet it's got one of those damping rings on it to stop it ringing

  • this sounds superb. it sounds like the really nice concert snare at my school.

  • Comment removed

  • u need to losen up the actual snares... and work on ur gravity blasts

  • sounds a little to dry for my taste

  • one hand roll fail lmao!!!

  • sounds pretty good:)

    i'd suggest remo ambassador:)

  • its sounds like its way to tight to me

  • this sound horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • it needs more snare but thats just my oppinion

  • the snare side was tuned really tight, up to an A, and the batter side was tuned tight, up to a G or to a B the head was an old stock coated head, very cheap, however any head would work for this, and even better

  • @Rockinnsk8inalldayI like my snare tuned exactly opposite to that

and I choke the shell a little with the spring

  • @Rockinnsk8inallday Someone's been watching Bob Gatzen :D

  • @Rockinnsk8inallday i was gonna say, did you make that thing on your stove at home but that makes sense, stock heads tend to suck

  • This sound is little different than snare drums usually sounds, but I liked that, it's pretty cool sound.

  • I think i know what you mean...when i hear it now in the first hit, it sounds like the snare drum from the preset on my keyboard lol

  • i thin kits sounds gd man :D

  • Sorry but I don' think it sounds good.
