The kata was certainly impressive, but the bunkai threw me a little. Most of the sets were too long (to me) and difficult to see where Renshi was getting the moves from. Well done, nonetheless.
Beautiful technique and sharply executed. My only challenge with step sparring, is that a true opponent will not remain stagnant while you execute your techniques. If while watching such a demonstration, you focus on the techniques and speed of the demonstrator, you may believe this to be a realistic scenario. However, focus on the "attacker's" movements, and you'll realize his cooperative pauses make such training unrealistic.
Sorry, late-night comments come out sharper than intended. My point is, that if the instructor clipped the student, sure thats poor. However, that is not related to the flow of his kata as he moves from one technique or counter to the next. The important part is that he just keeps rolling from one to the next. That he miss-aimed a demo attack and clipped someone has no impact on the flow, just his close-contact control.
Good job! I like how this karateka didn't seem as stiff as a lot of folks when they practice their kata.

Wow, I do Isshinryu and have been looking into it's roots.
This is nice, and one of the forms most changed by Master Shimabuku.

Very good understanding of kata . This is that we need on karate : open mind .
There isn't "the naihanchi bunkai" , but infinite ways to apply it .

Not really- since the combat forms at the end are an interpretation of the Kata performed...
The world doesnt revolve around your opinions...there are some of us out here that also practice Martial Arts...Mr. Irrelevant.

Very nice techniques. But it sounds like the last strike, the back fist I think, acutally hit your partner.

Yes, he hits the partner in last back fist attack
