  • intellectual chub!

  • Thanks for this interview. Always a pleasure and informative to listen to Noam Chomsky.

  • This was a brilliant and enlightening interview, Dr. Hildebrandt. Thank you so much for posting it.

I have noticed over the past couple of years that the "Tea Party" crowd, which reflects the positions a small portion of the population, is covered disproportionately in the media.

Another thing I notice in the media is that they decide who the front runners are during the nominee process. So before Rick Perry could officially announce his campaign, the media was calling him the "front runner".

  • wow, everything chomsky says is astounding. thanks a lot for the upload.

  • @MrBloograss

Why are you fantasizing about Chomsky being "tightly wrapped in spandex"?

  • @MrBloograss - There's a medical acronym, SOAP, for Subjective, Objective, Assessment and Plan, You've stated nothing valid, or even witty, just a Plan with no foundation.

  • good interview man keep it up we need people like you, fuck the pessimists and cynics!

  • @Gumblert crap interviewer. shut up and don't answer ur own questions.

  • Good job doc! I'm sure interviewing Chomsky is more than a little nerve-racking. I sincerely appreciate the upload! Perhaps you should interview Edward S. Herman next?? Take care brother!

  • @AnarchyDavey - Thanks. Good idea.

  • I liked and enjoyed this video. Thank you! I prefer to ignore labels that are used to marginalize people and their opinion.

  • Did you smoke a bowl right before the interview?

  • @terrapin52 - You know what I wonder? I wonder why people like you don't seem to care about the world we live in. None of this is a joke you know?

  • @DrKenHildebrandt Unfortunately, some of the people who support Chomsky's views also support marijuana legalization, gay marriage, and conspiracy theories. This only serves to drive would-be conservative supporters away. STFU about your hemp fixation.

  • @terrapin52 - You're not "conservative" if you'd rather have nuclear power plants and oiled seas. Why not go argue with Jack Herer about cannabis and pick up an extra $100,000? So, I guess you like having more real criminals at large due to this bogus illegality. That's not "conservative" either. There was no talk about conspiracy theories so we'll leave that one out. Amazing you care about gays getting married, but have zero concern about humankind heading toward the cliff.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt I'm sure you didn't notice, as most ego-centric people don't, that Chomsky wisely dodged your statements about hemp. Instead, he alluded to the fact that the government is backing away from cellulose-based fuel production. The fact is, this technology has been proven to be infeasible, and would have a negative effect on the environment as fields are cleared for "switchback grass" growth. Chase your tail with cold fusion, hydrogen, and hemp. It's a pipe dream.

  • @terrapin52 - Most people take someone nodding their head up and down as being in agreement.

  • @terrapin52

nowadays, sadly, "conspiracy theorists" is used to label anyone who does not agree with the government.

Conspiracy is defined as "a combination of persons for a secret, unlawful, or evil purpose" Sounds like our government eh?

  • So much truth in less than half an hour. Why can't we get a brainy guy like this for president, instead of all these well-funded smooth communicators?

  • Since practically all of the media is controlled by corporations (yes, even public broadcasting), what's the point of this clip?

  • @whereismybailouttv - This was clearly addressed. We need to use the Internet, along with community organization and so forth, to overcome the media via INFORMolution.

  • Thanks Doc., I really enjoyed this & it was very informative. I hadn't made the connection between unions & a legitimate 3rd way (in politics).

  • @nikku13 - Thank you.

  • Im not for cloning, but I'd be happy to clone Noam Chomsky because i can't think of another Intellectual powerhouse that gives so much of himself to others. The world is a better place because of people like Noam Chomsky. I know that he is humble and doesn't like hero worship, but i just had to throw that out there.

  • Dear extremists: If you didn't always conduct your ideas and knowlege in such a way that made, the "average human" feel like an idiot, you'd be surprised how many more people would be willing to listen. The world needs extremists, you are usually the best investigators and researchers. Unfortunately the average human has to be spoon-fed. Shoving things down their throats does nothing except turn them sour on the ideas and opinions that i hope all of you are working so hard to spread!

  • @BeautifullyJaded86

It rather depends on what you mean by 'extremist'. Narcissistic dogmatists are the world's nemesis, and they are the people in control of most governments.

  • @TheGodlessGuitarist Obviously... I would not have posted this comment if I was talking about those kinds of extremists. =) I posted, in the hopes of bridging a gap... not creating more.

  • I wish that everyone would quit criticizing people for not being extremists. If the entire world was made up of extremists then we would have destroyed ourselves a LONG TIME AGO! Who cares that he's voicing his ideas about hemp and cannibus, and that you can hear him agreeing or disagreeing in the background. It's his interview! If you want different questions answered, then conduct your own interview. And his "active listening" did nothing to hinder your ability to hear Chomsky's input.

  • This corporate media is really unreliable

  • The scary part of the video started at 22:00 and dealt with energy depletion. That's where Chomsky notes that GOP psychoes are defunding biotechnology that turns "useless cellulose into useful fuel." So what do the Republicans plan to use when the petroleum runs out?

  • Thanks Doc,I respect Proff Chomsky and I appreciate your posting of this clip....We really are in a lot of trouble.....

  • Hehe. The interviewer is very focussed on hemp oil and pot.

  • @greggh ..who isn't nowadays, really??

    ;-)

  • "What happened in Japan"

Japan has many nuclear reactors, many much closer to the epicentre of the earthquake - they're all doing just fine.

What happened with the single one that didn't has nothing to do with the plant itself - which is an old Generation II design scheduled for shutdown this year as a matter of fact, Generation III and the new Generation III+ are far and away more safer still - but the sea wall being not high enough and the backup diesel generators becoming flooded as a result

  • @KentAllard

The short term reality is that if we're gonna do what people like James Hansen insist like Phase Out Coal by 2030 then we need Nuclear Power as a stop gap, we cant run an industrial society on good intentions it needs Base Load

  • @KentAllard - Why not look into hemp and what Jack Herer has brought to light with a $100,000 challenge to prove him wrong as I suggested earlier? And what about the censorship of Gravel and who it was who reportedly censored him, as per my interview with this brave man who at no small personal risk read the Pentagon Papers in front of the US Senate? BTW, though Professor Chomsky is a "distinguished scholar," he's not above learning from others & respects the intelligence of "ordinary people."

  • @DrKenHildebrandt

For the same reason I dont bother to argue with the time cube guy?

If you grow biofuel, where do you get land for if or what do you with reduced food stocks due to converting existing cropland? And where do you get water and fertilizer? It is basic maths.

And it would be for cars anyway, not power plants, automotive contribution would be far and away more effectively met by public transportation which also solve the basic realities of road congestion and suburban sprawl

  • @KentAllard - Over the last decade +, I've spoken with, interviewed, & talked on the phone with various presidential, congressional, gubernatorial & senatorial candidates, which if you had done your homework you would've found out, & these issues have been discussed over and over. You childishly think that calling names scores points & negates others hard work as humankind heads toward the cliff. Your ideas about mass transit are worthwhile, but who's going to listen to you if you're so nasty?

  • @DrKenHildebrandt

    Where did I call names?

I asked what you're a doctor of and pointed out you go in for the whole Alien visitation BS

  • @KentAllard - You called me a "hick," and then tried to summate a complicated situation by ridiculing it with the words, "Alien visitation BS." Ridicule is an effective technique of propaganda, but it has no place among intelligent adults trying to arrive at the truth of a situation. I watched this video for the first time in nearly two months last evening, and couldn't understand how anyone could ignore it all and focus on things not even presented, or something so trivial as a persons title.

  • @KentAllard Alien visitation BS? Well its off topic here but this is presently one the the theories of the table to explain a whole area of the unidentified arial phenomena, and not is necessarily BS at this stage.

  • @KentAllard - Safer but never safe.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt

I'd rather live near a nuclear power station than a coal power station, or a union-carbide plant, or the love canal

There are all kinds of dangers in an industrial society and yes this has one too but put it in a relative perspective

  • if we grow something for biofuel, where do we grow food? and what do we fertilize and water it with?

biofuels and electric and fuel cell cars are all just musical chairs, the proper solution is a comprehensive multi-tiered public transportation system

  • @KentAllard - Check out Jack Herer. As Noam has stated, "We live entanged in webs of endless deceit, in a highly indoctrinated society where elementary truths are easily buried." Best to keep an open mind. I recall your name from watching at least one other video I had with Noam. I'm kind of surprised about how you're responding today and hope you come to realize anew we're all in this together & it's best we treat one another with more respect if we're to divert our course away from the cliff.

  • What is Hildebrant a doctor of? I've googled him and found him giving himself the title but no explanation

I've also found he frequently posts about Alien visitations and the government coverup - what is Chomsky doing being interviewed by this hick?

  • @KentAllard - Nonsense, Kent. You should know better. What has what kind of a doctor I am have to do with the content of this video anyway? I gave up my practice in 2000 in pursuit of a better world and have worked full time with elections ever since, free of charge. Yes, I filmed some incidents in the sky I cannot explain and to date no one else has been able to either. Whether these are some kind of atmospheric phenomena or something else I do not know, nor have I ever claimed to know.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt

If you're introducing yourself with the title it does, Chomsky doesn't bother with his qualifications and titles when doing his stuff on this matter (others do of course and it can be made thats an argument from authority)

  • @KentAllard - I asked you specifically to state why it would matter what kind of doctor I was in relation to the content of this video. You failed to do that. I've already stated below why I felt it was necessary for me to use my title. I gave up my practice when you were about 14 to do this & I don't care to get into what kind of doctor I was because I don't want that to enter into the discussion. Humankind is headed toward the cliff. This isn't a joke. Please stop wasting time with pettiness.

  • Chomsky is Dumbledore. Hildebrandt is Hagrid. And avacadoazzurro is a sniveling Draco. I appreciate any opportunity to hear Mr. Chomsky speak. To complain of or focus on video quality when issues of such great importance are being debated is to engage in an embarrassing, almost criminal form of pedantry. Thank you for uploading this.

  • @KimmieDatify - You're welcome, and thanks for your comments. Wasn't familiar with these characters, but I can see me as the big fat guy with a big heart, ready to lay his life down for our friend. Sure hope Noam has the lifespan of Dumbledore. Thanks again. Another one for the fridge.

  • I dont see what everybody's beef is with this video. Sounds/looks fine to me. Why must people nit pick every little aspect of a person's character or contribution? I think this is a great video that raises a lot of great questions that need to be addressed, but unfortunately people seem to care more about audio quality that the substance of the work. Let me also just say, it doesnt say "interview" with Noam Chomsky, it says a "talk". This is a video of a conversation we should all be having

  • @bodhiskyy - "This is a video of a conversation we should all be having," sure sums it up. That's exactly what I was hoping people would come away from this with. Thanks so much! You've no idea how much of a shot in the arm posts like yours are. To be printed and posted on our fridge with the others.

  • the interviewer sounds like he's making awkward moans and groans. whats up w that

  • this interviewer is such a stoner

  • @mondosolorzano - As humankind heads toward the cliff, this is your contribution. Remember that.

  • Transitioning to an alternative fuel source is curing a symptom and ignoring the problem. The neoliberal paradigm is closer to the root of the problem: linear thinking, perpetual quantitative growth in a finite planet, pervasive inequality, extreme class stratification, hyperconsumption, institutional racism; these problems can't be "greenwashed." The ecological modernization argument is just unrealistic. The necessity for shifting to an ecological paradigm deserves precedence, no?

  • Hey doc. don´t let the haters bog you down and keep up the good work!

  • @IntoTheHeartOfMusic - Many thanks! Will keep on keepin on. Your support is most appreciated. Another comment for our fridge. My best, Ken

  • Great Interview, glad to see an interviewer who is really passionate and clued up with real politics and economics. Sad to see people leaving unnecessary comments. Im sure if they had to interview noam they wouldnt know wtf to say. Peace and love.

  • @saileddragonfly - I can't thank you enough for your support! Like the others it'll be posted on our fridge to help counter the "haters." Can't let them spoil my passion, try as they might. Every person counts, one way or the other, don't they?

  • Dr. Chomsky is very right to say about liberal media. Did he remember that holocast when millions of peoples had thrown to the hell, and "Liberal media" had acted like a dumb bell. Did you remember when Iraq had been devastated for nothing, and your liberal media in America was bias. It's bias attitude was liberal. Liberal media is promoting irrational hostality against Jews and Muslims. Every Muslims in this world is half jew.

  • Sorry to say it, but the interviewer is a ridiculous moron. The fact that he prefixed his name with "Dr" only makes it more ridiculous, but some people don't realize this...

  • @objectcontrol - No, you're not sorry, nor do you know what I've been through for the last decade or so in pursuit of justice making me think it was best to use my title. Amazing you're a Chomsky fan yet throw around words as carelessly as you have. I guess you got absolutely nothing from all that's been presented here as humankind heads toward the cliff. Very discouraging isn't it? Why not just go ahead and join the opposition, or have you already done that?

  • awesome

im sick of seeing chomsky interviewed by either fawning activists or dry scholars with eyes "like a reluctant smooth lake whose surface is disturbed by no ripple of delight or sympathy"... really a great interview, your passion is commendable and you seem very genuine and unaffected

it reminded me of amy goodman interviews somewhat

i am also envious you got to meet such a wonderful person - and shake his hand!

    thanks a bunch!

ps you did sound stoned which was *awesome*

    keep it up!

  • @soliptic32 - Thanks! Some of the others were beginning to bog me down. Humans can sure be nasty at times. Your comment is posted on our fridge. Wasn't stoned btw. Guess I just sound that way.

  • Doc, you sound pretty stoned on this one.

  • @IntoTheHeartOfMusic - How do I sound on the other ones?

  • @DrKenHildebrandt Not as stoned. Just kidding :)

  • Hi Dr. Ken. Could you post up a transcript of your questions. I'm hard of hearing and the reverberation is making it impossible for me to hear what you are saying when Noam is on cam.

  • @TheGodlessGuitarist - Yes, a transcript of the interview is on its way. I'll let you know when it's done.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt

that's great! Many thanks in advance :o)

  • @TheGodlessGuitarist - We're getting there. Haven't forgotten you. Had other projects that popped up. Sorry for the delay.

  • To the subject mater we go. Are you a complete moron? Have you read any of his books? Did you do any homework? I don't know where you got your doctorate from, but I am DEFINITELY NOT going there. Bad, bad, bad. Dr. Chomsky saved you by being Dr. Chomsky. You suck. Also, were you high?

Also, never frame someone up centered unless they are addressing the camera. You can google it, "How to conduct a good interview on camera" would be the search query. This was NOAM CHOMSKY you moron!

  • So we've established that you are not a genius when it comes to attention to small detail. So lets move on to your interview technique. STFU when the subject matter expert is talking. He doesn't need your affirmations in the form of "yeah," "exactly" or "right" to name a few. And never, EVER interrupt the subject matter expert. You remind me of the time "Ali G" faux interviewed Dr. Chomsky. Ali G actually was better. I'm a junior in college and I know all of the above. Moving on.

  • @avacadoazzurro - I had equipment failures beyond my control, and I know about miking him up and not facing the window next time, but that doesn't mean I'm "not a genius when it comes to attention to small detail," but rather that I'm not a trained videographer. I've been talking with Noam since 2002, and that's how I talk with him. Not one person complained about any of this for the first 6000+ views. Do you think it's prudent to be nasty as humankind heads toward the cliff?

  • @DrKenHildebrandt I'm not being nasty, it's tough love. I'm a big time Chomsky fan, and I hate to see him treated like this. You only have 6000 views because your product is atrocious. I hope it goes viral for being so bad, maybe someone will take this product and edit out your annoying "back channeling" and improper "discourse markers." Those are linguistics terms. Ask Dr. Chomsky to explain them to you the next time he lets you into his office. He may know what they mean ;)

  • @avacadoazzurro he was having a effing conversation. he is helping the truth get out there and like he said he has had many interviews with Noam, if Noam didn't like Dr Ken, he wouldn't let him come back. wtf are you doing to get the truth out there? criticizing the people that do the work to get to the truth? why don't you go and argue with the people who are affecting your quality of life, the people they were speaking about in the video. your just a troll!

  • @1989kheir - Many thanks for the backup.

BTW, a fellow Australian helped fix the audio and video best he could to make up for my mistakes and equipment malfunctions. Any and all help helps, I think that's what most people are missing. Thanks again.

  • @1989kheir "Your just a troll" (I think you're the one being nasty now, and using poor grammar)

  • @avacadoazzurro - These posts are often made in haste, so that error is forgivable under the circumstances. Much to my surprise I admit, during this last visit even Noam and Bev were talking about mistakes being made in their office concerning there and their. This is petty stuff. You know what was meant. No one's perfect.

  • @avacadoazzurro - No, you're nasty. If you're such a Chomsky fan, then why are you so unlike him? To focus on my being a human being and complaining about such trivialities as "back channeling" and "discourse markers," whilst ignoring all that's been revealed in this video is indefensible. This video had over 6000 hits in one week, which is a lot, not a little as you suggested. I've worked full time without pay for over ten years for this world. Maybe it's you who needs to show a little respect.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt Don't get me wrong Dr. H, I respect you. Think about this: had this been a polished product, your work, with no pay, would've had more of an impact. Also, "back channeling" and "discourse marker" are terms Dr. Chomsky helped develop in his linguistics research. They're not trivial.

  • @avacadoazzurro - I fully realize that had the quality been better, that would've been best, but I don't possess a time machine so there's not much I can do about that now. You've no idea how much work went into this to make it as good as it is, including my snail mailing my DV cassette to Australia.

I'm not saying "back channeling" and "discourse markers" are trivial, but rather that your calling my use of them "annoying" and "improper," is trivial, if even valid at all.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt There you go then: take the good from what I posted and leave the irrelevant. I will bet my autographed copy of Syntactic Structures on the fact that there are hundreds of Dr. Chomsky fans out there with more knowledge about video production than me willing to help you in a millisecond. . . if you asked. Water under the bridge.

  • Let me get this straight: you had a chance to interview Dr. Noam Chomsky, and you didn't even bother to put a lavalier microphone on him? Your audio is horrible. Listen to everything else ever produced featuring Dr. Chomsky's voice and you'll notice a stark contrast between your audio, and the rich, full voice that is on all other products. Think about it for next time. Also, never, EVER, place a subject in front of a strong back light. He looks dark and almost out of focus because of this.

  • "Organized labor remains a barrier to complete corporate tyranny, so they want to wipe it out." - Chomsky

    succinct as usual.

  • The interviewer needs to put down his bong and STFU. Hemp is not going to solve all our problems. Let Noam talk.

  • Comment removed

  • @Scriptease123 - No one said hemp would solve "all our problems," did they? I said it would help us with our energy problems and give us an economic shot in the arm. Have you better ideas, and if so, why eliminate this one?

  • look at all the tags

  • @freelancergin - We can hardly expect them to air this on the god box, so I do what I can.

  • Noam was so nice to politely endure this guy's rude interruptions and senseless rambling about hemp.

  • @jabuhrer1 - Surely many could learn from Noam regarding politeness. It may just be one of our primary blockades toward a more reasonable world. What did I say about hemp with which you disagree?

  • Excellent interview Dr. Hildebrandt and, as always, very insightful words by Noam Chomsky. I have read/heard a great deal of N. Chomsky's views of the CAUSES of many of the world's problems and find his words refreshing . I would greatly appreciate (as I believe many would) to hear an interview of N. Chomsky in which he discusses in-depth, intelligent, practical solutions the average person can employ to bring about real changes. A blueprint, if you will, for "undoing" the damage.

  • @BillGoose1313 - Thank you for your intelligent response. The solution is discussed in this video, and it's not easy. If we don't elect someone who's not a business candidate, then we can expect more of the same. It would take an overwhelming effort of organizing at both the local, state and national levels, to spread information about the candidates the media are hiding. Of course those who aren't in this country can help as well, by spreading information. Noam can't do it all. WE must help.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt - Hey Dr

What did Noam say about interaction, talking to your neighbors and being isolated.. I didnt't hear that part. Please help

  • @1989kheir - "They may not even take it away because the point is it’s just chaos as long as you have an atomized population. If they can take away organization, interaction, you know, talking to your neighbor and so on, you leave people isolated and alone. You can throw the internet at them and they can’t do anything with it."

My wife Elaine is working on a transcript.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt - These people are evil... I can only see the people of the united states going crazy in the near future.. just like the Arabs did in Egypt and Tunisia... Do you think such a revolution may take place?

  • @1989kheir - I honestly don't see Americans taking up arms and fighting, nor do I think it's necessary. I'm hoping for what I call an INFORMolution, where people put the effort to inform one another of what's going on. I sincerely hope some of these comments are not a reflection of the majority, or that'll likely never happen. We need to encourage one another, not discourage. To clarify, if you don't mind, to whom are you referring as being evil? - Thanks, Ken

  • @DrKenHildebrandt

I'm talking about the top of the 0.1% (the bankers) that you and Noam where speaking of in the video. I think people will wake up. At the end of the day, the world really is, good vs evil. Evil never prevails over good. Those people at the top, preying on people down the bottom, on their hard labor, will get their day. People like your self and Chomsky should have authority, people with knowledge and people who have a heart for their common good of the entire community.

  • @1989kheir I hope so! But I think it will be a while yet. Things gotta get worse, much worse.

  • @BillGoose1313 yeah he should do a simple "how to" guide that every one can understand. And i'm not even kidding.

  • The interviewer needs to shut-up and let Noam speak uninterrupted. Or at least pose concise questions that Noam doesn't need to decipher and redirect

  • @Remy11111 - As humankind heads toward the cliff, is this all you want to state? I've been meeting up with Noam since 2002, always conversing back and forth - my focus being on elections. Since 2000, I've been working full time without pay to help bring to American's attention how their elections were a sham. Humankind IS headed toward the cliff and what's discussed in this video has been successfully hidden from most. What's to decipher and redirect? Is this not all pretty straightforward?

  • Closely listen to an Inception dvd made before the January 8th Tucson shooting, especially during the dialogue, "Do It."

  • Is Hildebrandt an actual doctor :/

  • @AndroidPolitician - Does it matter? What about all that's discussed in this video? Doesn't that matter?

  • Great interview, but can we record these on something better than a handicam from 1999? Seriously, you can get a 1080p video recorder for less than $100.

Have a fund raiser - "$100 to record Noam Chomsky for posterity." I'll pitch in.

  • @DoctorMandible - It was recorded with a $5000 Canon XL2, but I had equipment problems, and try as I might I could not find a microphone to hook him up with. Can we forget about posterity and rather focus on our position as we head toward the cliff? I might just take you up on the donation.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt I think that our political instability is vastly more important than a trivial matter such as "marijuana legalization." Shouldn't we be more concerned about the jeopardization of free speech, especially with regard to the internet?!?!?!?

  • @NovemVmbrae666 - Do you think that arresting some 800,000 people a year for possessing a plant is trivial? Of course there are other concerns, but that's not what this video is about.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt yes, I think that it is trivial. I think you throw around that "800,000" number as if it were one of your random, illegal narcotic plants. I think the fact that over 2 million of our citizens are locked away in our labyrinthine legal/prison structure is NOT trivial. I also think the fact that over 3 million of our citizens are condemned to a subhuman "existence" of destitution and indigence is NOT trivial. oh, but that's not what this "video" is about...

  • @DoctorMandible I second that completely. Noam is a legend that deserves full 1080p recognition. Anything less is an affront to posterity. We watch porn on 1080p, but not Noam? We should be ashamed of ourselves...btw, anyone with a name that rhymes with Foam is fucking dope!!!!!!!!!! NOAM FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why is this guy so obsessed with Hemp? Leave Noam alone yippie.

  • @VVillowz - It's an ecological, environmental and economic solution we're not using. Do you think we're in a position to disregard monumental solutions?

  • @VVillowz I know dude, seriously! fucking gay

  • is it really necessary to talk about pot or hemp? that doesn't exactly add a whole lot of credibility to this discussion. it's kind of distracting actually.

  • @elpretentio - How? We're talking about sociological, economic, ecological and environmental solutions. Please be specific.

  • @elpretentio again, I fully agree

  • Please let Noam speak without constantly adding your remarks dr. hilderbrant,

  • @LetItBurnnn - As humankind heads toward the cliff, your sole comment is most discouraging.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt i am appreciative for you uploading Chomsky material, thank you for your time and effort towards a just cause

  • @LetItBurnnn - Thank you. Now please help spread the word. There are no heroes, but rather all of us in the same sinking ship. If we succeed, then those who find interest in such things can point out the heroes, but I think we need to focus on succeeding, not on heroes. Noam can't do this alone. I think it's time others started putting forth effort likewise. As it stands now, we really are headed toward the cliff, and those aren't just words.

  • @LetItBurnnn thank you

  • I dislike how chomsky just brushes over the biggest industry on the planet like if somehow we had sinlger payer health care and government run care we would not have any pharmaceutical profits, they want the government to have control, they the drug companies already control the government, the government's just trying to gain more drug customers for it's boss. They are expanding their market share by forcing us to have insurance, it should seem obvious by now.

  • Yeah this country is rushing towards a precipice, it's astounding. And I'm coming to believe that there is a lot of willful ignorance. I guess this is how empires collapse. I'm reading Yogananda these days, really inspirational, it gets you to think and feel more about the big picture. I find a lot of peace in that.

  • @mrzack888 - What about the Jersey widows? He has questioned bin Laden's guilt. It's discussed in this video what needs to be done, as difficult as that will be. We need to get together, not criticize one another whilst we all lose, don't you think?

  • @DrKenHildebrandt BTW, Dr Hildebrandt, thanks for not deleting my comments or blocking me from posting. 9/10 folks on your side of things would have. So, thanks! ;)

  • @RadioFlyffer - Not a problem. Only by communicating will we get anywhere.

  • Great discussion Ken, I'm glad to see you're still bringing us talks with Chomsky. What a breath of fresh air (especially after the ridiculous "death" of Osama, and the disappointing jubilation by a surprising number of Americans. Please keep up the good work.

  • @mscir - Thanks a lot, Mike. Much appreciated. Yeah, it's been a surreal week or so. We had a tornado just a few miles from here last week. I have a video of someone who was under his trailer holding his family down best he could and watched the trailer launch in the sky. Last I heard it still wasn't found. Debris for miles. Then the Obama thing, one lie after another, next to no one questioning why they didn't want to let bin Laden stand trial.

  • boring. 2 gasbags farting in the wind.

  • Jews are beholden ONLY to THEIR tribe...it is their law.

I love this...you wrote "Humankind needs to get our acts together and away from being isolated and afraid of one another." The doctrine of diversity (pushed on us mainly by Jewish liberals) causes the people in the affected country to feel isolated and paranoid of each other...according to a 30 yr study by Dr Robert Putnam, of Harvard University.

Its not a waste of time to get to the bottom of our problems and expose those behind them.

  • @RadioFlyffer--what you are referring to is a study called "contact theory". The initial response of separate groups is, indeed, distrust; however upon interaction and communication between differing groups, this slowly evaporates. It's also important to note that this study was conducted only in the US. This is also besides the point because in essence we do indeed, as a species, need to learn to work together or we will eventually destroy ourselves.

  • @eyeseethroughyou umm...actually, you're wrong. Very soon after that study was released, then president Bill Clinton summoned Dr Putnam to the oval-office to "discuss" his findings. Immediately after that meeting the report was "amended" to suit the agenda of the liberal/Communist (NWO) hierarchy. THAT is the report you're referring to. I'm talking about Putnam's original findings.

Why is Diversity ONLY important in the predominately WASP countries but in no other...ESPECIALLY Israel?

  • @RadioFlyffer---Ah I see. You're a white supremacist, Jew hating right wing tin hatter.

In otherwords, a complete waste of time.

  • @eyeseethroughyou Actually, no, I'm not. Why don't you answer my question? It's a totally valid question that deserves an answer.

BTW...the "White Supremacist" vs. Jew thing is long dead now...it is now widely known that the White Nationalist/Aryan movement is fully funded by the ADL/SPLC and always has been. There have been more Jews in positions of power within the "White Supremacist" movement than Gentiles.

The Jews benefit more from those orgs. than white people ever would.

  • @RadioFlyffer Yup as Theodor Herzl so eloquently put it: "The anti-semites will assist us thereby in that they will strengthen the persecution and oppression of Jews. The anti-semites shall be our best friends”. (From his Diary, Part I, pp. 16)

  • @Gunt78 Good on you, Gunt78, for doing your homework. The vast majority of people who feel compelled to post on this matter are utterly clueless about it and can rightly be viewed as being nothing more than ideological automatons.

It was the Illuminati (the Rothschild's in particular) who fomented the 2 previous pogroms against the Jewish populations of Europe, then Russia. Why? To fill up Israel, of course! That's why 80% of the Jews in Israel today are Polish/Russian Jews. (cont.)

  • @Gunt78 (cont) They [Illuminati] are planning another pogrom against the Jews here in the US and in Europe. Another pogrom would totally destroy the Palestinian people as Fearful Jews, fleeing "persecution" in the US/Europe, flood into Israel. But, true to form, the Illuminati have engineered the thing so as to benefit from it maximally...which means the destruction of the US, and the formation of the North American Union, amongst other things.

That's my intuition on the matter.

  • @RadioFlyffer I agree that we are seeing the managed destruction of the U.S. I'm not yet convinced of another pogrom against Jews. The only anti-semtic persecution I percieve at the moment is aimed at muslims. I don't discount the idea but I've yet to see it come into play.

  • @eyeseethroughyou also, "contact theory" was not Dr Robert Putnam's work. I looked it up just to be sure we were on the same page. Putnam's work resulted in the now amended book "Bowling Alone".

  • @RadioFlyffer - As the Meathead on All in the Family pointed out to Archie, reasonable people do not judge a whole group of people based on the actions of a disproportionate few in said grouping. We all have a common ancestor, as discussed in another video posted with Noam, and are thus only "families apart," as the great musician and visionary Jimi Hendrix sang in Machine Gun.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt True that...however, it needs to be understood that there is a huge network of criminal Jews who hide behind the "little" Jews...using ordinary Jews as a shield for their nefarious activities. This network is called the Sayanim and it operates within the US, against US interests. It is the the Sayanim who carryout the orders of the Jewish Banksters [Illuminati] at the ground level to further the plans of the NWO.

You should get yourselves ready...Civil War 2.0 is on its way.

  • being driven over a cliff , by financial parasites

  • Bla bla bla. We are in trouble because of technology. Man needs food and water to live. Not internet, not a iPod or mobile phone or TV. Do away with government and have people govern themselves, plant foods and quit polluting waters, and with no taxes and greedy governments or banks, man will get along just fine by helping one another and bartering. But the greedy, the evil and corrupt must be dealt with first.

  • ALL media corporations in the US are owned/controlled by Jews. The "Banksters" are almost all Jewish. Nearly all of Obamas 'Czars' are Jewish. 90% of the neocons are dual citizen Israeli's. 70% of the CFR members are Jewish. The list goes on and on and on...

Noam Chomsky is Jewish...you would think he would have the commonsense to come out swinging on his fellow Jews who are so obviously responsible for MOST of the problems in the world today. The least he should do is STFU and STFD!

  • @RadioFlyffer - Noam has said that if he had been been brought up Catholic he wouldn't be for a Catholic state either. Humankind needs to get our acts together and away from being isolated and afraid of one another. We're all in this together. Some are trying. Some aren't. Others are armchair critics purposefully wasting the time of those who are trying. Meanwhile the very survival of humankind lies in the balance. Some really care. Those are the ones we need to organize before it's too late.

  • this guy takes noams words and tries to turn it into a hemp discussion

  • @bobbyjohnson111 - As stated, I wanted people to know about hemp for energy and economy, the destructiveness of cannabis illegality, and corporate censored elections.

  • Chomsky is a duffus, he believes the official story of 911.

  • @UNTC321 , And you're a brain dead conspiracy theorist.

  • @UNTC321 - Why do you suppose he signed the petition for the Jersey widows? Better yet, what about this video, which is what we're supposed to be discussing here?

  • Yeah yeah---Chomsky is a "fake" because he doesn't adorn a tin foil hat and proclaim "The illuminati reptilian homo communist NWO secret society caused 9/11"....(rolls eyes).

  • @eyeseethroughyou Well that was an intelligent incisive retort! Instead of falling back on ad hominem straw man arguments why not actually engage in discussion and try to establish exactly what has informed such “outrageous” opinions?

  • @Gunt78--It was called sarcasm. You DO have the capacity to acknowledge sarcasm when its apparent, right? There was no "argument" being made, hence the accusation that I committed a strawman or an ad hominem is incorrect. The point is, Chomsky doesn't do "enough" in the eyes of many, therefore they feel compelled to label him a "fake" and a "gate keeper".

  • @eyeseethroughyou Yes I understood it as sarcasm directed at the comments here. It was in opposition to what we stated and therefore constituted an argument. It was strawman because nobody mentioned anything you referred to and it was ad hominem as you were insinuating we are tinfoil hat wearing nuts. The point is not that he doesn't do enough, but that, Chomsky point blank refuses to engage in discussion on some of the most important issues of our time.

  • @Gunt78--Well I apologize for damaging your sensibilities. And you are wrong about nobody mentioning what I referred to, since a poster in here did indeed refer to the "NWO". Also, I have read many others refer to such a group as either consisting of reptilians (David Ike) or being communists (Henry Makow). And to be frank, both these people are tin foil hatters. However regarding Chomsky, he is probably not convinced that some nefarious group caused 9/11, due to lack of hard evidence.
