  • Nice vid. Lov it.

  • But the Montre 8', is that stop the full lenght?

  • @keyboardjeff The bottom octave is borrowed from the Bourdon 8'

  • how much did the organ cost from start to finish?

  • @AMorgelwerke I didn't keep track of my expenses.

  • @raphig Thank you for giving such a thorough and understandable explanation and tour yet another talent of yours. Well done, congratulations on all fronts. Very cool.. My grandfather used to be the organist at numerous big cathedrals in London England back in the 30's & 40's. When I was small he was the organist at a church in canada I can still recall doing the foot pedals for him on his practice nights just we two, I hope to build one as a project some day in the future. How fun

  • Too bad you can't get the organs that are being trashed!

  • whats the note of the biggest pipe???

  • @777MMT The low C of the pedal plays at 32 hz.

  • Just amazing. Beautiful work!!

    Thanks so much for sharing.

  • very good and lovely introduction, thanks

  • Some time next week I'm trashing a slightly larger and much older version of the organ seen in the video. The second organ this year, too. The one I'm taking out next week is about 130 years old and is an original installation in a rural Church that closed it's doors for good 6 months ago. Almost all the interior action is wood and about 2/3's the pipes, metal. The number of small and large pipe organs destroyed each year for lack of a good home would shock most who are watching this, I think.

  • Thanks for sharing your experience and talent, but ?isn´t too much work just for 4 stops?

  • this is depressingly complicated. Depressing, because i know i can never build something of this quality.

  • That is great! The pipe organ is the most ingenious of all instruments!

  • What a wonderful video - thanks for your brilliant teaching!

  • Beautiful instrument and craftmanship. I used to do minor repairs on our church pipe organ and it wasn't a very nice electric instillation... this is much more beautiful.

  • the way you explain how you build it and how it plays is excellent. very nice. My Church has a pipe organ it was built in the 1800s it hasn't been played in decades

  • that is too bad your church doesnt know what its missing

  • The complexity of this insane and powerfull instrument is amazing.

  • Beautiful work of art. The skill and precision involved is incredible! I feel honored just by watching this.

  • Excellent
