Space Ace on iPhone

thats pretty slick having this on iphone. never wouldve thought back in the day, that you would be able to carry space ace around in your pocket! you gotta disable the arrows though if you can. thats cheating man, haha. ive beat this and dragons lair so many times in the arcade. they were some of the biggest and best games back then in the arcade. my old neighbors brother dan molina, did the voice for dirk the daring in dragons lair. what great times back then!

@cecinid, I suggest you go play the original ARCADE version of Space Ace on Daphne or better yet a working coin op cabinet...

The game itself isn't that complex, its a matter to remembering when to do the moves.. that was the damn challenge in the first place when it was released in the arcades in 1984...

The point I was saying is that it tells you where and when to move thus removing all challenge the game had in the first place, hence LAME!

@Cythrawl102 I have it on the iPhone and Captain and Ace difficulties don't light up the arrows. The path lights up though, so you aren't entirely lost.

I've beaten dragon's Lair & Space Ace on the hard level. I never beat Dragon's lair 2 though. My jaw dropped when I read this was on the I phone. Incredible! I have Sprint so I can't have it unless its transferred somehow.

It only shows what ways to go on the easy ass level.  Try it on "Ace" difficulty to learn what hard is. Especially that damn maze of death while you're on rocket powered roller skates.

I remember this game on Super Nintendo. It was horrible! Worst game ever made. This one here seems too easy compared to the Super Nintendo version.

@gertthegamer The video game had difficulty levels as well. It was always better 2 play the hardest level because U saw the whole game. On easy they skip parts...

Ah well I played it on the CDI and they never gave you a choice of difficulty, nor did they show you which direction to press like here :p. Trial and error all the way.

The cartoon chick is hot. This game is awesome. If you don't understand the awesomeness and think you're just pressing directional buttons you are really missing something special. Download this ish for free, play it, and then give the guy his $5 for a good game.

This is the game that bears my nickname (notice the ace in my name?). I got it for the iPhone and it is so awesome to be able to play this game that I used to play back in the early 80s. It is also nice not having to wait for the load times that the laser disk game used to have.
